Would be nice of the Building Plans/Blue Prints of these places could be shared via a website link for other to be able to build their favorite Tiny Homes from the series. Or is that already a thing?
@tooshay73963 жыл бұрын
You do an excellent job showing the place. . .but consider telling us what it cost to build, square footage, etc. There's only been one other yr channel showing tiny house living that delves into cost, materials, sq. footage, etc. Living Big in a Tiny House. This is air bnb over living full time. But share anyways. Would be fun to have a lottery for free nights $10 per ticket to go to a worthy charity (not to big pharma please) like animal rescue or building tiny homes f ou r homeless or something. Good juju and good PR.

Me too. Why would anyone want to bonk their heads on the ceiling every time they need to sit up in bed? Much better to put the bed head under the high part and use the low part near the feet for storage.
@KemiiLou3 жыл бұрын
@@serendipityshopnyc that is true but if you put the beds at the point where the ceiling is higher you remove space where you can walk around without bending over. You'd have to crouch down to reach the far window.
@serendipityshopnyc3 жыл бұрын
@@KemiiLou I spend much more time in bed than I spend walking or crawling around the bed, and the idea of bonking my forehead if I absentmindedly sit up too fast is not appealing. So crouching to reach the window or storage boxes would be my choice.

Nearly perfect. With a few modifications, I could see myself living in a place like this full time. One minor thing: won't rain and snow (carried by the wind) ruin the semi-outdoor deck experience, as the upholstered furniture is exposed to the elements?

Not necessarily. The wood might be treated or weather-proofed

I'm not a fan of those perpendicular homes made of shipping containers and box shaped.. it's just not hip to be a square, however for this particular one in Ashville North Carolina, I can make a huge exception, because this takes it to a whole new level. aesthetic wise AND comfort wise.
@Pressplay_Media_EU2 жыл бұрын
and the interior is actually well done - they didn't just take a shipping container and slap a bunch of boards and nails to it and some windows, NO they put in some real effort and dedication, clearly.. Completely changes my perspective on whether or not squares are "hip'

@robynzelickson61643 жыл бұрын
Agreed..doesn't look so tiny to me.
@elizabethcrosby90953 жыл бұрын
You bring up a good point...what is "tiny" in the US may not be tiny elsewhere. Here in the US this is considered tiny. I don't have all the info, but basically from what I understand, if it can fit on a trailer that can legally be towed on the road (within the legal dimensions but not sure what they are exactly) then it is considered a "tiny house". But in comparison to other places in the world, this dwelling would be a palace. That being said, I love the outside space being covered...especially when weather is not super great but you still want to hang outside!
