Hi, this in depth video shows various different controllers throughout the years working on the Nintendo Wii U. Expensive adapters and converters are needed for these non standard controllers to work so this video is more like an experiment to show that it is possible. In real life you will just get a Wiimote Classic controller or Wii U Pro controller.

So, just to clarify, this will only work on Wii/Wii U games compatible with the Wii Classic Controller, not the Nunchuk? And I'd have to get another Wii U adapter and Brook adapter for each GameCube controller I wanted to use? Also, I don't know if you'd be able to help me with this, but on the Wii U, it doesn't let me transfer the game save data from certain Wii games onto an SD card. It's not a question of space either as there's plenty of blocks available. Thanks!

Hey Vince I don’t know if you’re gonna see this and I don’t know where else to ask so... I’m considering getting one Wii U/PS4 Brook Converter since I already had the Sony consoles and controllers but I’m giving the Wii U another chance. So my question is, do you know if I can use a 8bit do adapter instead of a Magic NS? If so, would it work just like it?

holy shit, that's a lot of investement to get a N64 controller to work on a Wii U... Just the chronusmax is $80-120, then the book fob is $40, and finally the N64 to computer adaptor is $30... all in for $200+ with shipping/tax and you've just spent more than the console is worth just on getting the N64 controller to play on the Wii

Now getting them all working at once is the true challenge Edit: Using 4 cronusmax's and the Wii U Homebrew program HIDToVpad you could, but it would be way too expensive for any normal player to do

Got the Brook PS3/PS4 to Switch, flashed the "Classic" firmware and paired with Wii/WiiU. But then chained the Mayflash NS, paired with a PS3 controller wirelessly, and as soon as I touched any button it started vibrating relentlessly, making the setup absolutely unusable, sadly. Any idea about why, and whose fault is it? Brook or Mayflash? Had the same vibration issues with a Wiimote paired with the Mayflash, while plugged into the Brook Super Converter, itself paired with a Wii/WiiU wirelessly.

This is such an amazing video, I was wondering if you could use the joycons on wii u. I have an idea brewing that was inspired by your creations, to have a portable 2k screen with two joycon rails and then use it to play wiiu and switch games via wireless hdmi. My key concern was if there was some way to use the joycons on the wii u.

Amazing!!! I've been wanting to find a means of using the switch pro controller on WiiU - I hate the button layout of the original WiiU pro- controller - the right stick and buttons being swapped just doesn't work for me... So I will definitley try and do this...

@@nocturne5953 Despite saying I would give it a go I decided the brooke converter was just too expensive... £40 to have two dongles sticking out the back of the console wasn't worth it in the end. Plus the hassle of having to keep pairing the controller to either the wiiU or the switch depending on what I felt like playing.

Do I need the Wii U PS3/PS4 brooks adapter for the rest of these? I’m mostly interested in the N64, GameCube and NES controllers on the Wii U. I just hooked up the Wii U with the component cables playing Metroid Zero Mission and Earthbound Beginnings both look so much better now. I want to play Sin and Punishment properly right now. Wirelessly if possible but I can bring the Wii U down if a wired connection is needed.

what does the wii u game pad use to communicate with the wii u? does the wii u have bluetooth ? i wonder if some one could make a homebrew app to get these controllers working without the adapters ,the bluetooth ones if there is no bluetooth built into the wii u then maybe a cheap USB bluetooth dongle could be used with a homebrew ?

I have that NES/SNES to WiiRemote adapter too. What's funny is with that I can now use a real SNES controller with a SNES Classic. Btw, you didn't explain that you need those other 2 devices to use a GameCube controller independently with the GC adapter, but it looks like you still need them.

I wish the Switch Pro controller would just work without an adapter. Even wired would be fine! My guess is that 8Bitdo actually made it work with their controller and their Bluetooth dongle but that Nintendo asked them to disable the feature.

I have used different adapters in the video but the most used one behind the Brook adapter is a Mayflash Magic-NS adapter.

I fixed a PSP myself I got two of eBay one was working the other one was supposed to work but I didn't properly got the money back from eBay but I still had the PSP one had a faulty screen that worked perfectly and it charged up as well the second PSP was broken completely except the screen was working perfectly so I took the screen from the second PSP took the screen out from the first PSP that was broken and replaced it with the screen from the second PHP and it works perfectly

You probably dont have that syncing problem if you insert them one at the time. The only time it failed happend when you insert them at the same time.
