20 Favorite Mary Elizabeth McGlynn Songs

Someone challenged me during the Silent Hill stream marathon I was holding to name my top favorite Mary Elizabeth McGlynn songs from the series, and I've decided to accept that challenge in the form of a video. Except not just including songs by her that were made for Silent Hill, and I've decided not to include songs where she's really just an 'instrument' (such as her role in the Dishonored song Honor For All, or the opening piece to Silent Hill Downpour), and use only songs where she's the singular singer (though the background music to her singing can be by whoever, though she usually works with Akira Yamaoka). Of course, like any top of list, this is just my opinion, and decided instead of explaining my choices just to keep it playlist style. silent hill is not only an awsome exiting series,but has an awsome and exiting song list... and mary Elizabeth does a good job at it... she works with Akira Yamaoka and his awsome songs,with who its even more amazing like seriously,these songs are good at making moments either emotional or very mysterious

Apparently she also did a cover for Danger Zone for the PS1 game Top Gun: Fire At Will. And is she also a voice actress? It says she voiced Alex Wesker in Resident Evil Revelations 2

Original name of Paula Theme is Different Perspectives from game Shadows of the Damned

That's actually not the name of the song. What the official OST for Shadows of the Damned does is they put as many songs on the OST as there are chapters in the game, and in each chapter of the game there's a name for each chapter. The OST just names all the songs based off of the chapter names within the game and in order they appear in the game, and the chapter names in order of how the chapters are played in the game. Different Perspectives is a name of a chapter in the game, but the song, "Theme of Paula", doesn't actually play during that chapter in the game. The reason I call it Theme of Paula is because that's what the song is called on the actual game disk data, which I know because I some years ago did a "Complete Game Rip" of Shadows of the Damned's OST under the name Blackarms, so I personally ripped all the music in the game (though I did take creative liberties naming a number of the songs as they mostly were using data names of where to load them to events in the game, but Theme of Paula was literally just the name of this particular song).
