20 Million Years in the Making | Cutting Open Agatized Coral Reveals an OUT OF THIS WORLD Scene!

I've been sitting on these Agatized Coral geodes for a LONG time, and I know a lot of y'all have been waiting for me to cut them. I'm excited to finally be able to do this, and reveal the beautiful agate inside these fossil coral heads. The Agatized coral occurs when silica-rich groundwater percolates through the fossil coral and replaces it with a form of quartz called Chalcedony. Each one is so unique and it makes it such a blast to do this! Hope y'all enjoy!

Wow! Every one of those was gorgeous! The last one was so amazing! Loved when the black light lit up those beautiful bands! I was laughing so loud at the antics going on that my daughter decided to watch the video with me! Love seeing rocks, geodes, and fossilized coral cut open, it’s so exciting! Love, love, love to watch all of your adventures! No matter if you are in a creek,a boat, roadside or diving you just look like you are having the time of your life! Every piece of coral was uniquely beautiful! Also, it was nice to see the gang together 🙂 and that everyone left with all the fingers and eyeballs they started with.😁

For anybody wondering you can use an $80 tile saw from Home Depot and it will work just fine for cutting all Stones open. :) I love seeing what's inside. I'll be honest, I have a professional bench with polishing Stones and standard cutting blade, but I always use my thinner crappy tile saw to do the cutting. I have more control, the blades are cheaper, and the kerf is smaller which makes it a lot quicker.. You can buff them out with some cerium oxide afterward, and make your own beautiful published stones

My favorite thing for today was seeing all of you together opening the geodes. It is so amazing to see the reveal. Like you said they look like landscapes from outer space. Nature is so creative and mesmerizing! We just have to stop and appreciate it more. Have a wonderful day! Thanks for making my day brighter.

Duuuude these things are CRAAAZY! Man finding agatized coral is on my bucket list for sure! They are so freaking crazy cool😁 man the fortifications at 10:15 are just madness, thats one heck if a specimen! And man that last one, they look SOOO good with a polish! Love it! Always loved watching my mom cut rocks open on one of her cutters. Sometimes we would have to wait till the next morning to see what was in there! Especially with the thunder eggs. Thanks for showing us how beautiful the coral can be. 🥰

She’s a beaut Kyle!!! Love it! I’monna get me a saw... very soon!!! So many geodes begging for it! Also I have some agatized coral from Florida and Missouri!!! Florida stuff is more impressive but I definitely have agatized horn coral. Totally reminds me of the Florida botryoidal!

The slower you feed the stone the better the cut. Blades are cheap. Keep a good one on deck. Nice work guys

those look great inside , you guys are going to have to get a flat lap so you can polish the side you cut and give them amazing shine ..... also I recommend you cutting a few slabs off of one of your yooperlite's and hitting it with the UV light .... will blow your mind how pretty they are inside
