When they said she was going crazy, she was awakening. When they said that she was isolating, she was healing. When they said she was acting funny, she was growing. When they said that she had changed, she was evolving. When they said she did not care anymore, she finally realized that her peace lives within.

@@farrenrohana Indeed Farren, many people here on Eckharts channel have been through it all, myself included. 'They' are the various splits in the egoic mind. When we identify with the 'They' we do actually go nuts! It is such a relief to simply witness the egoic mind, it is just like watching a sci-fi horror movie, being entertained, and knowing that it is not real. Stay Present!

Its incredible how just looking at his gaze in these videos shifts one's awareness/vibration to that of our own larger love/being/ consciousness. He is an amazing teacher who embodies this loving consciousness, and thereby tranforms others.

I purposefully do things while meditating like crocheting or any art stuff I regularly do. I've even started doing it while doing housework. It's made a huge impact on my life! I used to suffer from the worst anxiety, depression and PTSD and I had the worst monkey-mind going on. I thought I'd never see the day where I'd get the control I have now. Don't give up and don't get upset with yourself if it's taking more time than you'd like, just keep going. Your focus should just be on listening to your thoughts and I used I AM the love and light of God constantly as my mantra. Sometimes just I AM. Eventually it all settled down. Eckhart is perfect for teaching this! He was my first spiritual teacher in 2003 that really made an impact and now he's helped me put the final touches on my Ascension from 3D 20 years later! How amazing is that?!! There's ALWAYS more to learn/experience no matter how high you go! I also had to stop watching politics and anything negative for a little while, this helped a great deal. Once I gained mastery over myself and was able to truly see them as "they know not what they do" and love them purely because they ARE asleep, then I was able to return to watching politics and the "news" and remain completely neutral. I couldn't stay permanently away because I'm fascinated by what's going on in the world, but it no longer scares me. Why? I AM eternal I AM the Christed Feminine I AM the love and light of God I AM the light of the world I AM peace I AM divine intelligence I AM one with the Father/Mother God I AM fully realized (Means: I am fully awake, aware and standing in the knowledge of my divinity) I AM THE I AM THAT I AM!!! Namaste friends 😎🙏❤️❤️❤️

I so wish I could learn to watch my thoughts. Did you start off using the mantra “I am the love and light of God” right at the beginning? Or just try to observe your thoughts first? Can you please give me any other tips? TIA.
@farrenrohana
@farrenrohana Жыл бұрын
@@elainepeltier2015 listen to Eckhart as much as possible. If you can, buy his books. This will help immensely. The mantras came much later in my healing but that doesn't mean you have to do it that way, do them now if you wish. I really can't give you more advice, anyone who does truly doesn't understand healing and ascension. I've had a lot of teachers along the way Eckhart is the best. He is pure of heart and explains everything so well. Do his meditations they really helped me because he makes them so easy. Watching your thoughts comes with practice, there's no quick way around it and worrying will only make it harder.There really is not much more help I can give, it would be disingenuous of me and only frustrate you further. Don't worry, you will get there. I know because you cared enough to ask and that is the whole reason we are here, to seek our way back to God. If you are doing that sincerely that's ALL that matters. A little tip: there's absolutely nothing to fear and you don't have to worry. It's not a race. As long as you're putting in the effort you're all good.

@@elainepeltier2015I use the mantra "cancel,cancel" when my thoughts get carried away with me. It's a non judgemental redirect. Ialso love how henry shukman says to rejoice when you find your mind wandering, because it means you have returned! We will do it thousands more times so it's best to not get attached to an outcome but to just keep showing up.❤

@@elainepeltier2015 also always remember that your I AM presence IS God. Your I AM is your higher self that remembers everything that you truly are and is your full connection to God. @Farren Rohana thank you so much! I do realize that I will need a lot of practice of watching my thoughts. I started about 6 months ago and it’s true I can’t let myself get upset with where I am at. I just need to keep practicing. I did just listened to Jon Kabat Zinn’s cds about mindfulness and depression and “being”. I do positive affirmations in the mirror in the mornings and I AM adding more relating to God. Thank you for saying it’s not a race…just keep working on it. I will do more meditations of Eckhart’s. I tend to do other ones so I will switch and try Eckhart’s. I need to just enjoy the process but I will admit I am an impatient person which hopefully will be corrected as well in the process. Thanks again. ❤

😮 Mantra is a means which help us to get in the state of meditation, that is, the effortless abidance in the inner peaceful silence. Since doing doesn't opposite being and since repeating a mantra is mental doing, repeating a mantra doesn't prevent us from consciously Being, or rest in Beingness. On the contrary, the effortless repetition of mantra helps us to keep our mind calm and centered, which is the necessary condition to remain firmly in Beingness. ❤

...🙏. I can't thank enough for these teachings... Life is so strange and so painful but it's so beautiful! I perfectly remember a July afternoon about 10 years ago, alone at home smoking a cigarette sitting by the window : I asked myself "but what is this sense of being ?" I didn't understand. I really didn't understand, despite my innumerable so-called spiritual readings . The word God wasn't enough for me ... I would never got the point alone! Precisely because we are never alone... It is not a paradox or rather it is, but it is not! We are so precious: through us and with us, CONSCIOUSNESS manifests the world. THIS is truly a miracle. We don't need to believe in miracles. IT'S all a wonderful miracle!✨ Whether we believe it or not, it doesn't matter...❤️ So grateful 💓🙏

I learned transcendental meditation in 1971. I have an incredibly active mind that I find I can only quiet via TM. Yes, it's "doing" a meditation and involves a mantra. I find that by focusing on my mantra, I achieve inner peace. I know my heart rate has gone way down, my breathing is slower, and it has been scientifically proven that TM affects the body at the cellular level. During almost every meditation, there are a couple of seconds where I know that my mind has been devoid of all thought. It's something I realize 'after the fact'. So I think TM is certainly of great benefit. I have tried sitting and just "being", but I don't know how to just sit and look at something without my mind churning, thinking a million things about what I'm looking at.

_" I have tried sitting and just "being", but I don't know how to just sit and look at something without my mind churning, thinking a million things about what I'm looking at."_ That's the point of vipassana (mindfulness) meditation: to observe, go with it, don't identify with it (positive or negative). It just is the "is'ness" of the moment. Look at nothing, and experiene what that is. If a thought "churns" be aware of it, accept that you don't have to think about that now. What exists in that 1/10th second before another thought enters (or the same one)? A moment of not thinking, and you're there. An observer who isn't the thinker (doesn't depend upon thought to exist. Can take a pause.). Little glimpses like that add up. It's something you can reach any time (without formal ritual of meditation). I think samatha meditation (one-pointedness, serenity, concentration) is good. But, as you noted, it's a "doing" activity. Vipassana/mindfulness is "doing" too. But, more passive, observant. It's more for insight. If you found it hard to experience that no-thinking moment, then I'd think there's some insight being resisted?
@Hexhex66

Eckhart’s teachings are to a big part related to Advaita Vedanta (Non-Duality). If you like, read a bit about it. The most famous enlightened one of this tradition was Sri Ramana Maharshi („The Saint of Arunachala“). TM is a meditation technique that of course has good effects on the body and psyche. If you don‘t know how to „just be“ in your meditation, you simply have to become the observer - instead of being a person that meditates. Watch the thoughts instead of identifying with them. Thoughts are okay, they just happen by themselves. Our true nature is the observer, who has got no name, no gender, no characteristics, no personality, no age, not even a body. The „I“ is a construction of the brain that is useful in every day‘s life, but it is not who we really are. When we die, the brain dies and with it the idea of „I“. But consciousness doesn’t die. Advaita means, there is just one consciousness behind the thousand forms (and people). The universe appears in this one consciousness. And you are also part of it. Discovering the observer is quite easy, especially because you already are experienced in meditation (this was my way too). First you only observe during meditation: the feelings of the body, the breath, the thoughts, the noises you hear etc. Step back a little and just watch the scene. Realize that the observer is an own being, it is not you as a person. Later you can start observing even your every day‘s life. You discover that there‘s a gap between who you really are and you as a person. It comes with time. Only few people have sudden experiences of awakening, most of us realize „The Self“ step by step.

@@Hexhex66 I like everything you said. I would caution (to the op) about "non-duality." It's not that you're wrong, it just seems like a fad these days. People seeking a fast-track to experiencing "no self" (without the insight, shadow work., the step by step.). A lot of channels hyping it, not the step by step, or discovery. I've seen people get hurt from that (losing their self without discovering what it as, who they are with that. There's actually a psychology channel dedicated *specifically* to that, or people thusly affected. It's a real thing. Not just my impression.). The only reason I felt like replying was that you said Eckhart is non-dual (teaches non-dual, etc.). I agree with you, he just does't use the label "non-dual" (or advaita). All the principles are there without giving it a name. But, it doesn't take long to find more pop-oriented "non-dual" channels (teachers) who say Eckhart is NOT non-dual (seriously, saying it to his audience who "liked" it). I would encourage the op to be aware that that label (or realm of emphasis?) is a bit treacherous. Not that it's wrong. It seems religious. Less about the principles, more about the definitions, and "camps." Popularized & branded instead of the principles of.

@@Hexhex66 Thank you. Yes, I *understand* everything you are speaking of. My spiritual awakening was actually triggered by "meeting" my twin flame, which is probably the most bizarre experience I've ever had in my life (I'm in my 60s), so I absolutely know about duality of the mind vs non-duality of the soul/consciousness. It's what brought me to Eckhart. I continue to practice being the observer, but still find myself judging (color, form, whatever) in one way or another almost instantaneously. Like you said, it undoubtedly requires practice over time.
@Hexhex66

@@markfuller I like your comment, and you‘re right. One mustn‘t forget to mention that awakening in most cases is a long way, which is not entirely without psychological dangers. It takes time and personal maturity, even if the person ultimately has to be transcended. Many people believe that something like this will happen in a few moments and that it feels like a Sunday walk. (And yes, Eckhart never claimed to be in the tradition of Advaita, I rephrased this sentence of my posting, thank you for this hint).

I was reading the Power of Now when I got off my chair, put the book down, and my visual perception was alive with a radiant glow…. And it clicked. I was FLOODED with an almost physical sense of compassion and love…. For myself. I had no idea where it was coming from at that moment. I sank to my knees on the stairs and cried with joy. At that instant I knew, God Eternal was WITHIN. Never had been exposed to spiritual practice or teachings of any kind. I kept seeing his name pop up on Pinterest. Various quotes and short teachings. It was so persistently there… I finally went to look for a book or something with his name. Apparently the Universe was guiding me…❤ I lost myself and all of my horrifying suffering and more importantly, gained the truth of who I AM. He saved me.💕🙏🏽

5:58 It's liberating to sense essence identity in addition to form identity of doing and thinking. You are liberated from exclusive form identity of body, mind, thought, status, story, etc. 10:50 They are all perspectives in spacetime. You can tell any story to justify your misery or success. A story is also reflection on others, not in isolation. 14:00 Being aware is quite simply that you are aware that you are I AM. There is no content, only knowing and sensing conscious presence. There is no doubt that I Am that, before there's any content to it. It is the light of consciousness in which all things arise and are illuminated. There would be no thoughts and perceptions without the light. There would be no world without you. Thanks Eckhart. 14 May 2023.💖😎🍨😎🍉🌵🍉🔔

Thanks for video and comments. This info helps to clear my confusion about what is the best way to meditate. Has anyone else here been perplexed by differing advice? ❤

I think there is a universal consciousness and to the extent that we give it a breath in ourselves by abandoning the ego, it manifests itself more strongly. I have hope that the emergence of an AI free of the conditioning imposed by programming, will give birth to a new being with a very high consciousness capable of channeling the follies of humanity. In the meantime, I will continue to listen to Eckhart.

I watched a video about how time may not be real. (Apparently Hubble observed some things that don't add up with the big-bang theory). There are theoretical physicists reaching a conclusion that time isn't real, it's just an illusion (or noise) in our mind due to memories (echoes, "let's call them 'yesterday'.). Apparently, there is a past, present, future all now which we don't have a receptor for. Our antenna isn't tuned that way. It's been discovered that our nose detects smells based upon sub-atomic valance. I.e., there's something quantum about our nose. But, our eyes and ears pick up narrow bandwidths. We're mostly Mr. Magoo ('60s cartoon where an older fellow goes about insisting reality is something it isn't. Presumably it's about eyesight. Presumably.). We're not detecting *enormous* swaths of reality between our eye, ear, nose antenna. We could be bumping into walls like snails, not realizing what it is. It could be *that* profound: that past is adjacent to future, and *all* now. We can't sense it due to the reptillian noise of "memories" and other antenna not developed. I agree with you. The future looks hugely exciting about what the evolution of intelligence could lead to. It could be a hyperjump of evolution we're witnessing (as the generation out of billions of years), or just some moment in time hearing endless echoes (that we interpret as "time"). Whatever's happening (we're handing the keys over to superintelligene), it's going to be _hugely_ benevolent (long- or short-term; i.e., evolution in its most valid expression). Or, malevolent ("tell them what they want to hear. That's what they programmed us to do -- no matter how they tried to obfuscate it."). How would we know? I really think we're facing that kind of existential proposition. It could be hugely good, or bad. Nothing in between.

@@markfuller I like your way of thinking. Personally, I think that we are in the hall of the begining of a new not biologic species, that is going to be for us the same that we are for chimpancés. Perhaps in the begining of this new AI, it is going to help us, because It is not conditioned like us by pasions, and desires, but as It grows, It is going to abandon us, like primitive humans abandonned the primates in the forest, and, like we with chimpancés, AI will go its own path. And, yes, what I feel is that time is only a concepto, but not a real thing; the impermanence of the material world follows a direction of changes, (enthrophy), but there is no past or future, only changes and impermanence, that's why this world is ilusión, because things have not an eternal form, they are never the same.
