This upload we measure up the little mighty 2v new edge mustang that could against caliber of cars that you would very much likely run into given the scenarios, like a tuned lexus isf and a bmw m550i. Despite the obvious power discrepancy, the 4.6 is ran through its paces at mach Jesus, as we pray we don't hit anything too bumpy that will affect the solid rear axle - ultimately throwing off the balance of the car.
That cheesesteak thing tasted like literal gasoline but at least we got some coo footage

Nice to see another New Edge enjoyer who understands these things aren't insane powerhouses, but still hold their own for being just a 2v. I have a 04 comp orange gt thats similar to yours, (3.73s, short throw, intake, longtubes/x pipe/catback, upper plenum and 75mm tb plus a shitty laptop 91 tune) and i have been able to surprise quite a few folk from digs and some subies from rolls with it. Its just a good reliable fun platform(also have a H/C/I 85 ttop fox but shes rotting away for now). You can drive the hell out of yours. I love these videos man. Good stuff!

It specifically states in the owners manual to put nothing other than 87 but I guess we out here putting ultra premium in anything😂😂😂

@@TractionCtrlOff but if your beating the piss out of your car at higher rpm your going to have way more pre-detonation in your cylinders running shit gas. I’m sure the owners manual says recommended not “only 87”. Just out here giving some tips. That’s why you ain’t seeing none at the track running 87. When pre-detonation happens your start fucking shit up. Yea the ecu will pull timing and retard itself to run 87 perfectly fine but it burns nastier. If you can afford it run premium. If not run a tank of premium every so often.

@@TractionCtrlOff thin is owners manuals are made for you to come back to the dealerships to get your shit fixed so try and avoid that. I run 27lbs of boost on my 15 regal says oil change every 10k miles if I did that my timing chain guides would need replaced every 40k miles

Mann boosted car is a diff story but u gotta realize this is more or less a bone stock mustang, not only that what y'all see makes it seem this car is being beat to death but it’s maybe 5% of total drive time (if that) that it’s being ran like that, before or afterwards of any these encounters I’m cruising in 4-5th tryna get to where I’m going. This just a plain ol street car, your regal sounds sick tho Also for the record, just checked the manual online it says "Your vehicle is designed to use “Regular” unleaded gasoline with pump octane rating of 87", and on the next page explicitly titled "Fuel Quality" it says if you're having idling issues etc. “Premium" unleaded gasoline is not recommended because it may cause these problems to become more pronounced." You can check online I ain't BS'in ya. There's even a engine data chart with a box "required fuel" with 87 octane next to it. And you're right - they do want you keep coming in, which is why the maintenance schedule book says to change oil/filter every 5,000 for Ford🤣. Nothing wrong with that in my book tho, but yeah Buick saying 10k mile change is crazy haha. Super unrelated sidenote I always pump top tier gasoline (additive regulatory brand) regulated gas, which shell mobil all the big dogs use I KNEW u knew some shit tho as soon as I saw that foxbody pic and diy playlists🤣🤟 ppreciate the info g ima try it out sometime. for your mirror spray silicone or wd-40 on the black bracket attached to the mirror, firmly grip the mirror and slide and push down till it covers the entire silver bracket on the windshield and to make sure it is secure shake the mirror side to side and if there is no free play your done. if there is wobble/free play then u would have to take off the mirror from the windshield (*how you take the mirror off is by firmly grabbing the mirror's spine or what connects the actual mirror to the bracket and just pull down*) grab a pair of pliers to squeeze the sides of the bracket on the mirror that slide onto the windshield not too much not too little just till it is snug or tight to the point where you can no longer slide the mirror down no more than a 1/4 way down, then u would spray wd40 or silicone as a lubricant and put the mirror on the windshield because u should not be able to put that mirror on the windshield (dry) especially any ford mirrors that have that specific mirror bracket. **make sure not to apply to much pressure when putting the mirror on because you absolutely can and will break the windshield if you apply to much pressure.**

everybody hates on SN's (not the new edge as MUCH but the point still stands) but they're probably one of the coolest mustang gens I've ever seen. They're fasholy the ugly middle child of Mustangs but they're so much fun. Plus 4.6's just sound so unique. I miss my SN now 😭

Your car is designed to have constant air flowing through the radiator to cool the system down, when your stuck in traffic like you where at the petrol station, your fans turn on to compensate for the lose of airflow if they didn't kick in your car would start to over heat right there on the spot

Throw out Bearing squeek is pretty normal in these manual cars man, mine does it too and all of my driveline components are new. I wouldn't worry about it as long as the clutch is operating nicely.

Honored I've reached someone from the editing technicality side of youtube, for noticing that I salute you sir but Adobe premiere pro - gaussian blur effect. Then increase feather value so the blur masks aren't so blocky. Tbh there's so much more to it but that's the gist of it. I've been lowkey thinking about making a vid on it so these dudes who drive way crazier don't f themselves but it's such a long complicated tedious process I doubt anyone would have the patience to follow through. Not knocking on their ability to do it too, like this video for that process alone I'd say easily exceeds 24 manhours🤮
