The absolute madlad did it. Edit: What you could have done for the rooms is build the doors, but set zones to remove roofs. The colonists would still get the "Slept Outdoors" thought but it would've helped prevent "Disturbed Sleep" and still give them light to build the beds once you were ready. Also colonists will only search for tables within a certain radius (50 tiles) to go eat at. If there aren't any nearby tables they just eat on the ground. Building a table + chairs every 100 or so tiles within the base will ensure they can always find a nearby table to eat at.

The ReplaceIt mod on the steam workshop makes things like replacing the beds much much easier. It lets you just place the beds and it automatically deconstructs anything that was there before

my poor heart. you have the blueprint mod, you couldve just made another blueprint at 5 or 10 rooms and then placed them down instead of doing it one by one :( also, for the workbenches, you can copy a bill in one and then quickly paste it into the others using the button next to the 'x' of the workbench

for stuff like making statues, cooking, etc (things you instruct them to do), you can copy and paste instructions via the two pieces of paper on top of each other next to the yellow S. This is useful when you have many stations that you want them all to do the same thing. Love your videos!

I wanted to try your last one as well, however I realized 2 hours into the setup that you put a lot of time, effort, energy, and thought into the setup. Can you please tell me how you don't have fps drops, although you have 200 colonists? Maybe there is but very small drops When I have 10 colonists, the game becomes slow and dropping! The game is not big compared to other games, and I have a very good PC but still have this problem!!! Did you use a lot of mods while playing this colony?

For your next massive ant far- I mean rimworld colony you should probably get a stack mod like stack xxl. The tile economy was obviously not designed for this many colonists, even on the largest map, and it would help with micromanaging and probably even lag

Lots of RimWorld tips, as someone who has nearly a thousand hours on that cursed organ harvesting simulator! some basics: clicking and dragging on blueprints selects everything regardless of type, and double clicking on anything but structures or trees/crops selects everything on the screen. I think I saw someone say this too, but using the blueprint mod to create a whole bunch of rooms in this situation is way easier than doing it individually.

Okay to help you out. 1, you can copy bills use the 2 sheets at the top of a bill and press the paper with an arrow at the bench you want it at 2, Go to orders, allow, them right-click for allow all 3, Double click on an object to select ALL of that type of object on screen to interact with broadly

Maybe focus on "How will we handle the wood storage?" _glances at stonecutting tables_ Though you might actually have that handled, this is just a rhetorical suggestion.

Dude, I don't know who you are or what that mad fustercluck of a pyscho Rimworld ant farm was, but I'm subscribing to...whatever the hell it is. It's late and I'm feeling the woozy air, but man that had me dying ;)

If you double click on a certain object (such as sleeping spots) it will select ALL currently on screen. Good for quickly deleting them or setting them all to medical beds.
