200 Hr transmission service on John Deere X360 Lawn Tractor

this is the procedure of me servicing the Tuff Troq transmission on my X360 , this the second time , the first was the 50 Hr brake in , The X360 is the smallest John Deere lawn tractor with a serviceable transmission . I used John Deere oil and filter here in this service due to i can order the part in my pajamas at night on the internet , and 2 business days later the part are usually available at the dealer for pick-up .

Those are a really nice tractor,and the changeable tranny filter and fluid is the best feature. Im lookin at 2 different models an x310 i found for $2200 and an x360 i gound for $2600. Both are in about the same condition with between 300 and 400 hours on them. Id live the x360,but its almost a 3 hour drive from me. Ive still got a couple days ti decide. Hopefully something will come of it. Thanks for sharing these videos.

I sent my mother to John Deere to get transaxle oil to do the trans oil change and they told her she didn’t need it because it’s a closed system, so now I have to go back and purchase it myself and boy are they gonna get a earful. So angry

ya your a bit right , one certain model they are a " so called sealed system " but if you have Tuff Torq transmission , they make a transmission stand and kit available to allow those sealed systems to be converted to drain-able ttransmissions , their also internal filters that my have to be changed . Taryl Fix all - kzfaq.info . has several videos on how to service " so called sealed Transmission " by Tuff Torq . My case John Deere has , or had , a 20 day no question return policy and the we exchanged the lawn mower for the X360. Our previous lawn mower was a John Deere 160 , and had a Peerless grease lubricated transmission and it fell apart . we found on E-bay on a end of stock clear out sale and picked up for $800 .

your transmission is a Kanzaki K58 so best to go to John deere for parts

@@45NUTS_PART_DEUX if I did they couldn't have been any worse than yours but you missed the point entirely. It wasn't your ability to make a video it was the sorrowful way you accomplished the task at hand. Make all the videos you like but you have very little mechanical skills. Nobody is gonna argue that point.
