Backyard breeders are the absolute worst of the worst. It absolutely breaks my heart that someone can do this to animals. This is why it's so important to either adopt from a rescue or source an ethical breeder that does all health tests and offers support for the rest of your dogs life. I am so blessed to have such an amazing breeder for my German Shepherd but hands down i would adopt all these poor souls if i had the money and time xx

@@brendasaxton6505 Agreed, sadly I'm in New Zealand so it would be rather costly to have one flown here and with their traumatic past i don't think being in a cargo hold would help, they need a stable start at their new life and I'm sure they will get it with these amazing people watching over them

I have German shepherds too and buy from a person who get her breeding stock from Germany, Schutzhund dogs who have been tested for generations. My current dog has 10 generations of testing, he is great, healthy, trained easily and the 6th GSD of my life. I tried to rescue a GSD but she was excessively aggressive and harmed my other sweet GSD. I will rescue a cat in a heartbeat, but don’t trust the dogs in the shelters near me.

Sylvia is just another level of compassion. I know she said “it’s others, not just me” but this lady is the heart that drives this rescue. 205 dogs rescued in 2 days & she says “they’re all perfect in their own way.” Wow, this lady is just out of this world kind. I hope she gets plenty of help & support to re-home these dogs. Truly, she’s one in a million! 💕 Edit: NTM, 17 dogs living at her home but “3 of them are small. I’ve no idea how this woman’s enormous heart fits in her chest! 🥹

My family and I adopted a puppy who, along with her 5 siblings and 5-6 other litters were rescued from a puppy mill in Arkansas. She was so shut down, it was very clear she never had consistent access to food and water, let alone physical touch. She has been locked in a cage for the first 6 months of her life so everything was new to her. My older dog was thankfully very patient with her and really helped rehabilitate her and teach her how to be a dog. She’s doing amazing now and absolutely loves life and everyone who enters it. I’m so grateful that there are people who go in and take these dogs from situations like these and continue to care for them until they are ready for homes.

Dr Scott is angelic. It must be so difficult dealing with the emotional devastation and roller coaster than comes with helping so many dogs in such dire circs. I’ve been reading about what a difficult job veterinary medicine can be. Some succumb to despair. I’m sure it’s true for all of those working to help these pups, named and unnamed. He exudes love. I've always admired you as vet but to be able to go & help so many animals in desperate need, it's truly amazing. Thank you so very much for all you do. Jack touched my heart strings. We came across a "Jack" many years ago. He was destined for a bullet as he became surplus to working requirements,. He'd been a hard worker and as such, never housetrained or really domesticated. We immediately gave him a home when his owner was hospitalised.. It took us 6 weeks to entice him indoors. He wasn't housetrained, yet he instinctively went "outside". He put his paws up on the kitchen work surface once, and I said, "No thank you" and he never did it again. He had been tied up when he wasn't working, yet once we had him, he never strayed. In his latter years he became a "sniffer dog" He led us to stolen property hidden in a wood that was reunited with its owner. Our "Jack" could have been disposed of with a bullet in his prime but by Divine Providence he changed lives and taught humans a few things about life! Every dog has his day if we allow him to live!

If I were still able bodied & not totally scared to death of flying, I would want to move close to this place to help with all the dogs! I have already lost my heart just seeing all these beautiful dogs!!!

I'm torn between feeling sad for those poor pooches, angry with the s****y humans who treated them so badly and thankful for all the lovely people taking infinitely better care of them now...

It is like.. these dogs are with defects and thats why thrown away. Do they not deserve to live happy life? 😔 They are not some toys! It is sad how cruel and heartless some people are. People who help dogs (actually any animal, bird, fish etc) are amazing and real angels on this earth! I am grateful from the bottom of my heart you exist! ♥

That little french bulldog broke my heart. People breeding dogs that need reconstructive surgery just to live normally is sickening. These kind of breeders need jailed. Im glad they were able to save the dogs they did. Beautiful people.

I love that she reassured someone, maybe the cameraman with patting... for non medical or unaware folks it's tough just as Scott says. I appreciate the candidness there.

I wish I could afford a dog for allergies. I miss my Springer Spaniel dog. He lived with me from a year old until he was 22 years old. He was a great special needs dog for me. Back then I was afraidof people and how they treated me. I am now 58 and I am handy capped. Lucky dog helped me with anxiety, depression and panic attacks. I loved Lucky very much and I miss him very much xoxoxo. I still stay in my house now more because of being handicapped. These people are doing a great job looking after and taking them in and rescuing them no matter their condition or age.

I can't believe there are people out there that neglect and abandon animals. Not only does it make me angry, but it makes me sad to. It's an incredible thing that there are kind people who take in these animals and take care of them and then try to find a loving home for them. I am an animal lover so seeing this video breaks my heart

Any human that neglects/abandons or hurts animals are badly damaged themselves. Hopefully there is a possibility to help both groups; even bring them together in love ❤
