Before I get thrown under the bus by any mechanics,just so you know I'm fully aware Subaru uses metric sized. Mine were loaned out at the time and used the next best imperial size. Thanks for watching and hope it helps

Did it today! Thanks! I have EU Outback, and I put KYB suspension from USA Outback. The columns haven't compress that much. I had to help myself with another car lift (Ford one) and unscrew sway bar, to "open" the suspension one inch more.

How is that bolt holding up after a year or so? I did this job recently, also needed to cut it and replaced it with a grade 8. Doing some other suspension work with some frozen nuts/bolts and stumbled on some forums talking about the dangers of replacing with none oem bolts and starting to get paranoid..

I know, I hauled the wife and kids when nothing else would go, took nieghbors to the store when nothing else would climb an unplowed hill! I even hauled a few 10 and a half foot logs to the mill!

Did you snug those wheel nuts again "after" you set her down? It's always a good idea... I forgot once, just a few miles and I remembered, LOL!

I believe I ordered them through Orielly Auto parts here in America

You didn't say you have to buy the parts separately and put them together, which you need special tools .it is dangerous if your not experienced

Subaru uses metric units and the scissor jack is the worst jack to use they will either fold or snap on you I would not suggest using them
