How many miles does it have? I found a 2003 model in good condition for $1995. My only concern is that it has 253,000 miles. I don’t know how much it could possibly last after that (ps. I’m a first time car buyer)

@@lilliampumpernickle4655 if this helps, I got one 173k for $2500. No rust clean needed tires and brakes that’s it. As long as the maintenance is done and you keep up with it it’ll go to 400k. One for sale around me 304k for $2400 so you’ll be fine if it’s a clean car

I still have a 2002 model bought it new at the time it has about 380k miles on it still runs and drives like new and only real mods I did to it was to add premium sound deadening the inside is whisper quiet it makes the ride very relaxing.

i found another car same model but it doesn't have the pedal adjuster or the leather seats? are you sure this is the 2003 Toyota Camry XLE?

Just look after it, change the oil and filter like your meant to every 5k miles if you do a lot of driving or every 10k miles or once a year if you don't do much driving. Service the car every year - air filter, cabin filter, check spark plugs and change or top up fluids if needed. And check the underneath, suspension, brakes, brake lines etc once in a while.

I have a question. Does the temperature gauge needle sink all the way to the bottom? Mine does and I'm afraid it's broken and does not show me the correct temperature and instead showing me cooler temps when the engine is too hot

Sounds like a stuck open thermostat. Does the temp go down when you are driving?? If so that's what it is

Should hit almost half way in Heat of summer day, in colder weather when on hwy mine runs about 1 third of full sweep fine in town in cold with less airflow

Yep and still smooth as silk. I have been on deserted interstate and looked down and reaouzed i was doing 90 95 and did not realize it. So smooth even at triple digit speeds.

King_Abel really? We have a 2003 model that my wife uses mainly to get to and from work and it has almost 4K with no engine or tranny problems every. Her brother has one and her uncle has one and they never had any issues ether. What problems did u say the v4 has? Oh and a side not to anyone interested in buying one, they don’t seem to rust much. I can’t find a rust spot on are 03 model.
