Yes so you have the correct hear ratio

If you're mechanically inclined a 7, if you have very little auto machanic experience a 10.

It really depends on where you get the parts. I think we spent about $600. I bought a new starter and new axles. Junk yard parts are of course less money.

@@RelicsRings still did not specify what wires go to the switch for the clutch vent valve. its pin 39 on a gas engine. any more help would be great.

@@slaughtertwo there are some links to videos in the video description you should watch. I don't remember the specifics about what wires those are. But the videos should have the info.

We just did the cruise control last week and got it to work. You'll need to get a wire from an old harness from the junk yard and pull the wire and pin from the connection. I'll have to give you the details of how to make the connection later today when's I can refer back to my paper work. I do remember the new wire and pin goes in slot 66 on your ECU harness but can't remember what wire it came from off the old TCU. The info I'm giving is for the Beetle specifically, golf and jetts may be different.

@@slaughtertwo I just watched my own video and it had the info for the wire on it. Find the yellow blue wire that went into the TCU. and splice a wire from it over to the wire you added to pin 66 on the ECU. You no longer need the TCU so you can cut the harness on it to get access to the yellow blue wire.
