Was always taught to hand turn engine before start-up. Save a packet on complete rebuild cost.

Great vid just paid £400 labour inc water pump which was average for a familiar garage. They take off engine mounts to move up / down

There are some good Renault sport specialists around that look after these cars for reasonable cost. About £850 including parts plus a service to do this job
