In this Video I will be focusing on replacing the full sending unit, gasket and locking ring. Because I have the parts and removing the Fuel Tank allow acmes to the rear Control Arms I will also be doing that as well.

THIS is the video I was looking for. Good work. I don't have the tools to do it myself so i'll take it to the mechanic but I'm gonna order my own pump, ring, and locking unit. THANKS!

I always add some dielectric grease on all the electrical connections when I put them back together.

The old unit you took out was a cheap aftermarket Chinese crap. The one you put in is a good quality oem pump. Good job. Little OCD on the cleaning but great video

My tank support is rusted pretty badly. Just wondering if those bolts will ever come out. I see you soaked them good.

The three facing the outside of the Jeep were rushed badly on mine. Made sure the socket is tight on the bolts.

Are you talking about on the fuel tank or on the sending unit itself?

It’s fix my evap leak. There are multiple places a evap leak can happen.

fuel filter is internal to the fuel pump. stupid diamler really screwed up everything.

@@twopie79 yeah man. I ended up ordering a solo filter that was not compatible despite entering all the information. Thus , the entire unit must be replaced-- pump and filter. still love my jeep 07

@@jth1987leb gotcha thanks . If you were changing the tank guard why did you reinstall it. Don’t you have to drop the tank again to change it ?
