I was able to remove the oil filter without taking the wheel off. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and you can see the oil filter. Then raise the car. Thanks for the video. It helped me figure out where the heck the oil filter was. SMH. What a terrible spot.

If I remember right you can crank the wheel all the way to one side and reach back for the oil filter to avoid taking off the wheel

How comfortable are you with the A02 filter? It’s definitely a lesser quality build as the A01. A02 is a fram product that is basically a hybrid of the extra guard and the tough guard.

If I had the choice, I would get the A01. But I would be ok with the A02.

@@OEMEangg just so you know, the honda oem oil filters are made my fram. I stopped using their oem oil filters and started using k&n oil filters but now i'm going to switch to royal purple since i just found out that k&n oil filters are made in china.

No need to jack up the car and remove the tire. From under the car, the oil filter is deep in there, but can be accessed by using a long extension to the oil filter wrench.

This would be more helpful if you actually showed where the jack point is and where you placed the stands...that's as important as the oil change info.

it was so hard to remove the oil filter ;-;-; I had to get a wrench and play with it for an hour ;-;... this time I got a filter with a hex end (I have big hands so hard to get in there with just hands)

It should be easier on the next oil change. Honda put the oil filter in an awkward place. It is hard to reach.

@@OEMEangg Indeed. Still, I think the prior owner (I don't drive much so this I didnt have to change the oil until now) or his mechanic tightened it a bit too tight.

@@hibutmars1024 oh, i get it. The first time, I changed the oil on my Civic, the filter was stuck too... LOL. I had to get a wrench and crush the filter.

It takes close to 5qts but it should be checked using the dip stick.

You are making this way too hard. You dont have to take off the wheel. Have you tried grabbing the oil filter from above?
