hey on my 99 ford explore the ac/fan won’t turn off and is stuck on high any idea what it could be

I have the same car.. my problem is the ac compressor comes on when the selector switch is not calling for cooling… it usually takes a few miles of driving then I notice the cold air coming out of the vents. And when I turn the ac on it comes on runs cold then shuts down and takes a long time before it comes on. Any advice

so the ac blasts and it’s cold fuse on driver side good relay under the hood is good 1-4 setting work so it’s not the resistor connector looks a little crusty but unsure feels like i’m still blowing some ac out when it’s on full heat

I had a similar issue where only the 4th high speed was working, but now even that has stopped. I will definitely check the fuses and relays, but it sounds like it's the resistor according to this. Is that an easy replacement? Will a used one work just fine?

What do I do if my fuse under my dash just keeps popping soon as I put a 10 amp fuse in ? I've replaced new switch,resister ,and fan motor

My high speed made lots noise so I always back it down one setting... But now no fan say all after a few weeks of heart out here in Vegas. Do you think it's my high speed relay? Or the whole fan replacement

my ac is barely blowing, is it a relay or the blower motor? i can feel the cold coming out just not blowing thru the vents.

Maybe you could offer some advice. I forgot my 2006 Ford 500 limited was running, idling, in my driveway, for 8 hour's with the heater running. Then I discovered my heater blower fan now is not working, on any speed. It is an automatic system. Could it still be the resistor ? Thanks, John
