In this video, I will show you the entire 2006 Nissan Murano Alternator replacement process. This repair is a moderate level DIY Auto Repair but with this step-by-step guide, you will be able to save yourself hundreds of dollars on this repair. The 2006 Nissan Murano Alternator is a 110 amp alternator. I put the link to the alternator that I used from Amazon in the parts used section below. I found this alternator to match OEM specs at a FRACTION of the price from local auto parts suppliers. Although you can test your alternator at a local parts store, I would not purchase one from them. The alternator that I linked also has a return policy in case you ever need a replacement. You can also test your vehicle's battery with a code reader that has a battery/alternator test function. Remember with a multimeter you will get the surface voltage reading but the reading you need is the voltage under load to properly test your vehicle's battery. Many people can mistake a bad battery for a bad alternator. So making sure you test both of these vital components is never a bad idea since they are crucial to each other's operation. This repair on average costs between $540 to $750 at a repair shop.
