I really enjoy seeing the reaction of the presenting actors as they read that GL is the winner on the envelope! Oh, how I just wish that the light would still be around today!

🎉2007 The year of the Guiding Light 🕯️. My all time favourite soap. How sad, in only 2 years it will be off the air. 2009.😢. Remember we can all be Light Houses , if we allow our beacons to shine. Daytime drama greetings from coastal Mississippi ❤😂

I think GL deserved this Emmy over the competition. The two reels they picked were 2 inside the light episodes dealing with Reva dealing with her cancer diagnosis and Dinah and Mallet's first date.

@@joegallicchio26 Oh please! He was a soap opera killer. If his writing was so spectacular, the show would still be on the air! You must be a butt buddy of his. The show was at its best in the early nineties when there was competent writers on board who respected the show's history!!

@@joegallicchio26 Old enough to know that the show was well written years ago and what happened in 2008/2009 was a travesty to an iconic show that touched so many hearts.

@@Rogerthoroegirl So, you're wrong first of all. Kriezman was a fantastic writer. Clearly he won an Emmy for his outstanding work at Guiding Light and you can't deny that. Calling him a soap killer shows your ignorance and complete lack of knowledge of how a soap is written and produced....especially on a miniscule budget as Guiding Light in its last few years. Learn about something before running your mouth. Lastly, calling me his "butt buddy" tells me all I need to know about your maturity and mental stability. You're a sad little person.
