6 жыл бұрынThis is how to find and replace the crankshaft position sensor (CPS) on a 2007 Mini Cooper S. The original, unedited video is just over 8 minutes long so, with lifting/lowering time, the whole job took about 20 minutes. I decided to try a voice-over narration cuz I didn't want my neighbors thinking I'm crazy and talking to myself under my car. Enjoy!

Hello I have a problem with my 2010 Mini Cooper I’m guessing it might be this it gave me this code P0705 check engine came up won’t go over 20 miles and if I stop and put it on park won’t let me go back to drive and this is the code it gave me, could this be the same issue you had ??

Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact symptoms I had when I made this video. 2010 should be in the same generation as 07 though, so as long as you have the 1.6l turbo (without 4 wheel drive) this sensor sounds be in the same place. Good luck!

If the sensor is not all the way in ,the car start??

jose garcia I'm not sure - it might idle pretty roughly if it starts at all.
