With Devon's really long forearm and Bagents even cockier and belligerent mouth (difficulty handling the pressure I guess)... this main event was a fizzle. Gotta hand it to Larrett though for keeping this and his fans in mind at the end by promising them a better show next time. That takes integrity and real professionalism.

@VikingII5 жыл бұрын
Are you serious. Larratt is a notorious cheater on the grip up. At 10:23 he has his wrist completely cupped, just trying to get away with it. He will do ANYTHING to make you tired. His entire game revolves around fucking with you. If there is a 3 foul system, he will pull on your arm 2 times and jerk around with your arm until the ref gives him a foul. He will NOT pull you fresh, because he will lose. That's why Cyplenkov was so tough. The Russian Judges didn't allow ANY bullshit.

On Match 4 that they gave to Larrett. What is the rule for a official pin? Your opponents hand must be touching the pad not your own? I ask cause on the slow motion replays you can see Bagents hand or fingers touching the pad looking like a pin but you can also see clearly that Larretts hand doesn’t hit the pad, he kept it turnt enough that it was not on the pad, is that why it was not a pin? Just a noob here when it comes to arm-wrestling. But just like how Devon Larrat commented about the Japanese arm wrestling sport, the ones in the west should also be replaced with plane tables instead of the tables with cushions & small surface areas for placing the elbows. The tables should also be considerably longer to allow both opponents to have more range of motion. Might be quite interesting to watch how the game changes then. 🤷🏼♂️

@leetNightshade5 жыл бұрын
I've seen guys with good grip, like John Bryzink (butchered spelling, sorry), hold on and not let it go to strap. It's not always a sure thing. Devon lost a match against John because he kept trying to slip to go to strap, but John held on, and Devon stupidly kept trying to do the same thing over and over, and lost the match. Some people avoid strap.

Fantastic arm wrestler, shit personality.

@@aleksandurtotev8525 devon today is injured from surgeries devon did excellent job considering that and devons kings move is legal and alright above the table be blessed. Under 2018 Devons left is not as in Devons prime. Devon's left was dominant. Then it got injured, fell off and needed surgery. Denis hasn't been competing with the left at all the last few years and is probably remarkably fresh (though maybe not in "match" shape). It will more than likely be a struggle for Devon, whereas his strength, mind games, and technical skill would have combined to give him a 5-1 or even a 6-0 over Denis in 2012. Which is what happened when he toyed with Pushkar back then too. Now? He'd struggle with either man on the left. Prime devon here youtube watch?v=pzhx1IKu8Yk and here youtube watch?v=N-wxtHE0BAY . the sad part is devon compete on his left when its not fully recovered as matt mask also said at youtube watch?v=cn4Q86HXFv8 both devons arms today is injured and not fully recovered from surgeries so how it will go if denis recovers from drugs abuse and kidney failure well time will tell. hope devon can come back it all depends on his will if he is willing to break his body all over again to be on top 1 right and left in world again.

At exactly 14:00 you can see Travis’s elbow way off the pad, poking out under the down refs ear.
