So I had this same problem, but apparently from Jumping the battery 12v and then charging it up while still connected… which triggered these faults. I used an AUTEL MK808Z-BT 2024 from Amazon to clear the faults and now it works again! Thank you random KZfaq Mechanic! You saved my butt!🎉

What took you 12 mins took me 2 hours to figure out on the exact model Yukon hybrid. Lady got bumped from the back and would not start, car had to be towed in. I almost shipped it to the dealership but got lucky playing with reseting everything I could under different functions. There was not much technical information about this on Alldata / Identifix. Good job as always

That's a real PITA when you have to jump around from module to module just to clear one code so another module will be happy! Very Good Video!

A pro can solve the most difficult, sophisticated problem, and make it look easy. You are the best. In your videos, I will always see new scan tool screens I have never seen before. Thank you for sharing. Even the modern hybrids have EVAP system codes!

Thanks for the information. I am dealing with this issue now. July 2021. New driver daughter jumped curb and ran over the street light. Hybrid Tahoe no start. Yes I get decent gas mileage and way better than my 99 Tahoe gets and still tows my boat. GM screwed the pooch on dropping Hybrid Trucks and Electric plug in trucks in 2013. Now they are far behind compared to Toyota, Tesla and Ford. Could have been leader but just a follower playing catch up.

It's nice to do your work and never leave the drivers seat. Thanks for mentioning that other scan tools did not have this function. As an Autel owner it's good to know it's limitations.

I wonder if updating the SRS would have pushed it through. That way if you have j2534 you could still do without a tech2

Its on the Autel maxysis as of 12/19 update. Glad I did not have to get the dust off of my Tech2 and move into the slow lane. Will MDI do this?

Awesome video so looks like tech 2 only. Wonder if tech2win will have this as I do not currently have a tech 2 so be nice to know. Though a tech 2 is on the list along with a whole bunch more factory tooling lol.

Robinson's Auto Diagnostics my understanding about tech2win does about 85% of what the actual tech2 will do. I can’t confirm or deny this but wanted to pass on what I was told.

This video is 2 years old .Does Autel MaxiSys Elite presently offer this capability for a 2012 Yukon Denali Hybrid yet the tablet yet? If not , is this function doable with MaxiFlash Elite J2534 and a $40 subscription off a Windows 10 laptop?

everything related to airbags was repaired ?? Or just clearing impact codes and airbags will start the gasoline engine?! I just got a '09 Yukon at the workshop, it turned over on its left side, the side bags burst,,,,

Gds2 is a great bit of software, in the space of 10 mins I did a power balance, injector and spark tests, found the issue and reset the S/L fuel trims

Says High voltage interlock circuit open P1AE2 CHEVROLET code possible causes Faulty Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module harness is open or shorted Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module circuit poor electrical connection

I am having the same issues right now with my 2011 GMC Yukon Hybrid. Got into an accident, that affected the bumper, grill and headlights. Had them replaced, but the vehicle won’t start. Anyone know why my 09 gmc hybrid wont stay running it saids Services Power Steering? But If I let it sit for a few day’s starts up works for a week then does that same thing again. Maybe I have a bad assist pump? I just dont want spent $700 on a new one to only find out does the same thing. If anyone could let me know I would appreciate it.

Michael O he did state the both front sensors where changed it only needs a reset - one benefit of having dealer level tools

Hi I have an 09 Yukon hybrid what happened I did reset and update all my modules through GM software after that my brakes booster is not working on ABS I do have the code C0561 system disabled information stored calibration not learned I wonder if you would be able to help me out

Hey man I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado hybrid pickup and got into a wreck from the front and now the truck won’t start but the wreck did no damage to the engine or anything and I’ve gone from mechanic to mechanic and they can’t find the problem. Can you please help.

as far as I'm concerned hybrid vehicles are a no-start from the start.. maybe 50 years from now the electronics will be under control and stable enough ;)

@@throttlebottle5906 100 years, lol far less for sure, im sure you said that about coal powerd cars (oh weve had coal for hundreds of years, isnt going anywhere!" its already here, its viable except for the price, the charging is easily solved, put charges in every parking spot, every city will put charges on gas vehicles for pollution , just like london, and they are putting extra pricing on older less compliant vehicles from next year. its the end of gasoline for sure, the self driving is coming next and people will complain about freedom to drive im sure
