The 2008 Redskins were an up-then-down story. Part of the up was their success against the Eagles. Washington won in Philly for the third time in four games with this comeback road victory. After falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter, the Redskins took total control of this game, running off 23- straight points and finishing with a 7+ minute game-ending, clock-killing drive that future Redskins superstar Donovan McNabb and the Eagles offense could only sit and watch from the bench. Hip-hip-hooray, indeed.
Buck and Aikman on the call here for that big-game feel. Not quite Madden/Summerall, but no one ever will be.
Digitally restored from my original DVR to DVD recording with the curtains open and the neighbors watching.
