THIS was arguably the very best MNF season for iconic intros. Hank Williams rockin, the smashing helmets, the party atmosphere. It was a football smorgasbord of bliss for fans. When you tune in nowadays, you get the 1970s era snare drum soundtrack version--that’s the best way I’d describe it. Todays beat just sounds so lackluster for anyone who watched all through the 90s and 2000s. We didn’t know how lucky we were.

I was at Gillette nearly 3 months earlier while me and my dad were visiting my oldest brother and his wife. Among the things I got at the pro-shop was a white Brady jersey. I wore that jersey with pride the day after this game at school.
