~8500 miles. Over $7500 worth of modifications, many of which can't be purchased any more. Key upgrades: Termignoni Full Exhaust System (Carbon Fiber), Brembo SuperSport Front Brake Rotors, New Rage Cycles LED Tail Tidy, CNC Racing Rearsets, and a slew of of carbon fiber and titanium bits.
The bike does occasionally take 2-3 attempts to start up when cold, especially if it hasn't been ridden in a few days. This particular time, it would've taken 2 attempts but I got a little eager on the throttle - hence the 3rd crank. This is a known issue on these 09-13 Monsters, and is generally recognized as an expected quirk of owning a Ducati. Don't worry, it won't leave you stranded. May just take an extra start or two if you haven't rode in a while.
The clattering sound is normal, and is a product of the dry clutch. I illustrate in the video how it becomes quieter when the clutch is depressed - again, normal behavior. You can quiet the clutch down by adding an extra friction plate to the back of the stack (at the bottom of the basket) or buy purchasing a closed clutch cover. This sound isn't present when in gear - only when in neutral or with the clutch depressed.
