2009 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Land Rover created the Range Rover Sport for socially mobile off-road fanatics who find the big Range Rover a bit too reserved. I own the one just like the one in the video, and we got the extended warranty. This was the best anniversary gift I'll ever get, it's my dream car. I like the feeling of being safe and sitting up high.

Standard features include air conditioning w/dual-zone climate controls, power tilt/telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls, cruise control, leather upholstery, memory system, 8-way power front seats, power sunroof, harmon/kardon radio, 6-disc CD changer, navigation system w/voice recognition, outside-temperature indicator, universal garage door opener, and wireless cell phone link. It has an upscale interior, but less power than average (considering its class).

after 10+ years owner review online , MY07-09 RR or RRS seems to be the most reliable L322 generation range rover. I recently bought a MY09 RR SC which is still terrific inside out, drive like a king of the road. The only shortcoming would be its gas consumption, less at 10mpg in urban.

@plaid4u The 4 cars you speak of : Ariel Atom, Ascari A10, Noble M600, Caterham 7 are all specially-built race cars for rich people, and none of these are road-legal outside of Britain. Which makes them essentially useless, since the only place they can be sold is in Britain. And BTW, TG never tested American supercars like the Shelby Ultimate Aero SS (which has a faster top speed than the original Veyron), or the Saleen S7, which means we don't know if one of these is faster than the Enzo

yes, but everyone i know with a Range Rover (lots of people here in Vancouver) has some complaints about the on board computers and electronics. The Range Rover is a great drive for the city but I prefer the G55amg for off roading. I have test driven both, and I know the Gwagens are reliable. Our Canadian forces depend on them in Afghanistan. The design hasn't changed much since its inception.

Competitors include the Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-Benz GL450, Hummer H2, Toyota Land Cruiser, and Infiniti QX56. It has an upscale interior, though it could use quite a bit more power. My rating for the Range Rover Sport would probably be a B+.

Alright, you get a point for off-road. I completely agree that the Range Rover Sport is a lot better than the Escalade at off-roading. Can the REGULAR Range Rover Sport (not the Supercharged) tow 7,716 pounds? If it can, then you get another point for that. I wouldn't agree with the last thing you said, but the Range Rover Sport comes standard with a navigation system w/ voice recognition, which I thought was pretty cool. Bottom line: Give the Range Rover Sport 50 more horsepower, and I accept.

i tell you i have one and i had no problems with it and we have very bad roads in Romania. I have the 2009 model and the electronics is all new. this is a great car . i have a merc' ML and a Ford Ranger belive me i know SUV's.

@MAGICKUWAIT I just went on a test drive with one, on their mini-off road coarse, and on the road. They are surprisingly fast. Faster than you would ever think. They also rock crawl really well. They are not really reliable like a Japanese, but the horror stories are over rated.

Just to let everyone know! Tonight I drove my uncles black 2008 range rover sport supercharged and i felt veryyyy uncomfortable driving, BECAUSE it is SOOO powerful, i stepped on the gas like i would normally do and i FLEW back in my seat, it is like driving a sports car it was crazy, same with the breaks, they stop the vehicle SOO fast that it was hard to drivel. If i ever got one i would HIGHLY recomend the standard rover sport :) PM me if you have any questions

the normal range rover is a full size suv,it just dosen't have third row seats,its just a tad smaller then the escalade!!

The chasis is strong but that electronics are sub-par. It is very well known and accepted that Land Rovers have severe reliability issues. I don't know how in the world anyone could say otherwise with all of the statistics out there.

@MrMOHA783 ils l'ont dit. Le prix tourne autour de 60,000 dollars voir 70,000 dollars pour le charger et de 72,000 à 80,000 dollars pour le supercharger. Le supercharger va plus vite. Bon, le prix n'est pas fiable. J'ai trouvé le prix d'une de ces beautés dans un salon de vente d'automobile. Crois moi, le prix montre jusqu'à 90,000 dollars pour le supercharger.

the range rover supercharged goes 0-60 in 6.7 seconds which is faster than land rover claims it goes,its allso very capible off road dispite handling better then escalade,as well it has a higher towing rating then the suvs version of the escalade(7600lb on the esv compared to the range rover sports 7716lb)yet the escalade is bulit on a truck based platform while the range rover is car based.

According to the Consumer Reports I have in my hand, they have the exact same "worst reliability" award. All the electronics and mechanics here in the States are exactly the same.

@BlastDance The British army have been using Land Rovers for 50 years in the Word's most hostile locations....and it hasn't let them down. You have a grudge against British cars....for some reason...the British make brilliant cars....the Range Rover is more popular than the X5 and Cayeman and the M-class for a reason. DEAL WITH IT.

i have one and it;s better than porche and mercedes(i have 2 of them an ML and an E-class). This is a compleet car , the best all around, on and off road. You don't know what you are talking about.and about "reliability" do not confuse it with the classic Range rover.

Hahahahaha they called this a 4000lb SUV?!?!?! KBB's credibility just dropped to ZERO. The curb weight for a Range Rover sport is freaking 1500lbs more than that at nearly 5500lbs!

Yeah you're right, Range Rovers are pretty unreliable. And you're right with the different owners every year too ... Jag (and Land Rover?) are owned by Tata now I think ... or they changed it again or something
