Not to be a moron but I just want to say that my dad is self employed as well. He works 6 days a week. He usually wakes up at 6:45am and by 7:15am he’s already working. He’s usually home for an hour or so by lunchtime, and he’s just back to work until about 20pm. My grandpa, who is 85 this year, refused to retire from his job (he works in the family business as well) so that he could keep helping my father and my uncle. I’m sorry if It sound like I’m bragging on them, but I just took the chance to say how much I love them and how much I see them as real life heroes.

@johnatangonzalez90996 жыл бұрын
Be N S O N the question is, have you? he says in a few videos that hea really "intelligent", i mean hes an intelligent guy but he if he needs to say it to his viewers well theres the prepotent part, and if you see his ealiest unboxing videos (the donations) sometimes he looks down on the ones he dont like, and is kinda ungratefull in general, in the newest video he fixed this attitude, but still a prepotent and insecure person
@Colddirector6 жыл бұрын
Johnatan Gonzales 1. Which videos does he proclaim himself as smart? 2. I tried scrubbing through the earliest unboxing videos to see what you're talking about, but the most i could find is him finding an extremely yellowed Mac humorous. 3. I'm pretty sure he greenlights the stuff people send him, so the unboxing videos only show stuff he actually wants.

Not sure if I've ever commented on your videos, David. But I thought that I needed to really to say how much I love your channel and all the enthusiasm you show for all these techs. You're down to earth and gets to the point. Every time you upload - I know it's going to be interesting and worth watching. Love restoration of old computers and stuff.

Got a lot of stuffy head / coughing here as well. Love this Texas back and forth weather :) Thanks for posting this! Great to see soundtracks are still selling!

Hey, Alexander Brandon! Your soundtrack to Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is forever etched in my mind as a wonderful childhood memory and I want to say thank you. Have you seen Omri Lahav's covers? I think they're great! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oJN_h8eTt5bIZGw.html Sorry if you already get 200 emails a day about this.

regarding the storage problem. when i moved to my first place the kitchen cabinets we're perfect for 5.25 inch commodore 64 floppies. obviously when i had normal friends around they got shocked that instead of kitchenware there was floppies and electronics. under the bed has lots of storage that people miss out on but i get it differs from house to house.

Your posture is worrisome. I know how it is to work a lot on the computer. Take care!

Ehh.. I've had that posture since I was a kid. I doubt it is going to change.

I love your videos they are very informative and I get a kick out of them. They make me feel nostalgic for how technology was back in the day. I regret not getting into computers at an earlier age but they were just so expensive not knowing who to hangout with at the time hurt too. But keep up the great work and I'll keep watching your posts.

Congrats David ! I've been following you since 3000 subscribers and boy how time has passed. You had a different name back then, good quality content but with a bit more rant and with a less capable camera. Also, the studio wasn't actually a studio. Heh... Now every episode you upload is not just a "geek fest show" but a piece of valuable information to us old tech "freaks" that sometimes don't have the time/money to purchase old computers/keyboards but still want to find out in depth info about them or to teens that can see how technology was back then. And your genuine enthusiasm is addictive. Hope you reach 1 mil subscribers soon, you deserve them.

You have the ugliest desk ever. It screams Win95. Watching your channel is like time travelling 20 years in the past, and getting in touch with my younger tech-excited self. Dude, you rock!!

Congrats on the self-employed life! Everyone wants to be self-employed doing what they love but when it becomes a reality, they soon realize it's actually a lot more work than anticipated. However, you seem to be doing fine and I commend you for this video demonstrating your daily routine. Please keep making the awesome video content! You will find it's easier to balance the workload and real life commitments the more you do it and the better you get at it.

If he does not have time to do all those requests, then maybe it's time for him to start "8 Bit Enterprises," get an office, and hire some workers to do repairs, make copies of manuals,and EEPROMS, etc. for a fee.

I love your channel. Reminds me of growing up in the 80's messing around with my Apple lle. It really reminds me of why I enjoy this industry and work in it. Thanks David.

I think you could sum up this whole video with "if it fits with my mission statement [preserving computer history], I'll try my best". He's not a repair shop. He's not an e-friend. He's a video museum.
