Appreciate the vid man. I just did this for my mother in law. 2013 fortè. Her bulb was an H11BC. They gave her just a regular H11B and it didn’t work when I replaced it and tested it. Anyway I removed the headlight housing and it was really easy. I found it easier than removing the battery. The housing was just the 2 bolts and came right out. I was able to replace it with the right bulb and get the housing right back in. Easy peasy.

Had a light out. After checking the bulb and fuses, it ended up working from reseating the fuses. Thanks for the vid.

This video helped me find the solution to my problem. Bulb burnt out and it must have shorted the fuse with it. Found the passenger side low beam fuse thanks to your video. Thanks!

Just changed my drivers side one. If you can curve your hand under the cord that comes from the battery, no need to remove it! Thanks for the help :)

Thank you sir just did mines today and for the low beam on the driver side i did it the same way as the passenger side did not need to remove the battery or remove the out side part. The good thing i got skinny hands 😁💯

Thanks, perfect. Car was in a different location. After watching video I knew what tools I needed to complete the job on driver's side to replace both bulbs.

Thank you for your help! I would have broke the high beam connections getting it out otherwise!! However, The new bulbs got the high beam working but not the low beam. The high beam bulb element was broken but not the low beam. Before all this the original lights got ridiculously cloudy so I bought after market full headlight assembly's. So I assume the relays and fuses should be fine since nothing was wrong before the change. The passenger side is perfect but the drivers side low beam is giving me trouble.

I know this is an older video but I have a question. Please help. Awesome video! THANK YOU!!! As a woman it's so helpful to be taught this so I can do myself. One question though... I noticed my DLR's on passenger side is out. I read that is not the same as low beam as my DLR's are always on as soon as I start my engine. Is this a high beam issue? And is a Kia Forte Koup the same as what you're working on?

2011 uses a H11B on both sides. See some 2011 specific videos if that is what you have, especially the one showing how to remove lamp assembly instead of battery.

I have a 2019 kia forte and the daytime running lights and headlights have gone out. The bulbs have been replaced but still nothing. I want to check the fuse but not sure which ones are for the low beam headlights. 😢

I own this car. You can take the whole head light assembly out and off and unplug the light harness in the middle to make things easier

No fuses needed, LEDs pull less current than halogen

Was figuring if my High Beam was dead when i checked them on idle and figured its not working because it wasn't active. LMAO But my lights are so dim and low and it's frustrating to figure out the issue

I've watched every video ever made to find one with a light like mine. And the sob won't just twist out/release from the part holding the lil prongs. Did you ever figure out a way to do it?. It's just a headlight and i want to change it myself. The dealership cost an arm and two legs to do it.

@@jennifersmith6218 Yeah, so I couldn't get it out without removing the entire headlight housing, but I found another video where they show how to do it, it's actually super easy and preferable. You just need a ratchet and to unscrew 2 screws with it and you can pull the whole headlight assembly out. Coincidentally my HIGH beams just blew a couple months ago and it was a breeze to replace because I didnt waste time trying to squeeze my hands into those crevices and removed the whole assembly. Sorry, if I lived near you, I'd totally offer to help haha.

@@jennifersmith6218 good luck! I know its kinda sketchy, but if you have trouble, send me your email. I can take a video with my phone showing you how to do it. You will need a ratchet and socket set though, so you might have to go to Walmart or Home Depot and spend $20 if you dont have one laying around.
