this is the ultimate version of the camry. it's just as fast, great mpg, and still has a big interior

So allow me to give a bit of on balance report of my ownership of the 2012 Camry Hybrid thus far. I've now had it for just over 2 months. Ironically certain imperfections in the road create a bit more reaction in the suspension than I'd like (like manhole covers and such) but average road imperfections and the rest are nicely soaked up where as the handling of the car is quite remarkable. The interior is superb and high end, the entertainment system is also top flight. I'm getting 43mpg in all.

@krirks Because some people prefer space and a bit of extra power and more equipment, which this offers. It makes sense to have one car than lots of different ones for different things!

Haters will hate, This camry hybrid is the most fuel efficient sedan in the segment. The hybrid camry is nearly as fast as a Sonata turbo as tested and proved my Motortrend!

Toyota still makes the best hybrids.

@krirks As Adam said, that isn't financially do-able for some people. That said, many people do actually have cars for different tasks. For example, my family has a Hyundai Elantra (2011) as well 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada, one for commuting and the other for going to the mountains or when it snows, respectively.

it makes me want a Miata...or something sporty...and compared to a fusion in the winter the heat is dull.The best it does is get warm...not hot...unlike the fusion...which was weird.

Ford Fusion hybrid starts at 29K but isnt as boring as the Camry.

You liar the Camry is not the most fuel eficient hybrid out there! With my friends Sonata's hybrid we were able to test your claims and verified that you are a liar. His '11 Sonata hybrid beat my '12 Camry hybrid going from SLC to Vegas. His used 9.3 gallons of gas and mine 11.2 gallons. We both fill up at the same place and time and we drove together and again measure the gas consumed on Vegas by filling up again there. I hope to sell mine very soon so I can get me a sonata as well.

Boring toyota styling yet again. Not to mention hybrids are NOT the way of the future. As the car gets old so does the battery and gas mileage will get worse and worse. Hydrogen is the way to go.
