I've done a lot of Honda axles. It's not necessary to remove all those parts. Remove the axle nut, make sure the axle is loose in the hub, remove the 2 nuts and 1 bolt from the lower ball joint, pry the control arm down and pull the rotor and hub assembly outward to remove the axle from the hub. You can then pull the axle by moving the hub assembly to the side slightly. Lot less work. Takes me about 15 minutes per side from start to finish. Every time

Im having trouble i have a 2009 civic , already removed the nut but it seems to be stuck

@@juancho1269 take a punch or a screwdriver and tap with a hammer on the center of the of the axle. It should loosen easily

Make sure cv grooves are not damaged clean inside wheel bearing and always make sure CV axle is STRAIGHT all the time IF IS NOT STRAIGHT I WOULD NOT GO IN

Check your fluid if is low add 1/4
