I love those 392's. That's going to be my next Charger. I have a 2014 RT RWD Charger Max. I put 8K in it, and added about 80hp. It has 402Rwhp, able to run with the 392's, but I get RT gas milage, around 16mpg, and RT insurance rates...$75 a month for full coverage. I want a 2015 or newer because of the 8 spd transmission verses the 5spd, plus ➕️ they have another 15 hp to the crank. This 2012, sure is a beauty though.

My dad had a 2012 R/T max and then a scat pack and the 392 with the 8 speed is a totally different animal. It was a beast

consumption is actually quite ok for the engine size and power. Maybe a automatic with more gears would be better.

These Chargers were never on my list, I am not sure why , maybe it’s because the cops all drive them round my city. That said , their some mean looking cars with serious power. I just started looking for some American muscle and Ive to check em all out. That 6.4 Hemi sure looks good and sounds beautiful.

How is that mpg possible? Does the 392 have cylinder deactivation?

yes up to 85 mph / 135 kmh something. only if plain flat and using very bit throttle pedal or cruise control

test drive first, before you buy, if drives well, good engine idle? doesnt drivetain shake at around 60-70 mph? service intervall every 6000 miles? engine you wont need worry about. it last sure more than 120.000 miles or much more

did you check the fuel consumption part? it begins at 11:15 and starts 50 mph up to 112 mph

My fault… I have a 2006 srt8 charger with the 6.1 and it doesn’t have mds so that more sense to why I get like 16-18mpg

@@J_jizzle447 the 6.4 came out in 2015, they have a 6.1 or 5.7 or v6 in the 2012’s, I’d know, my dad has one.

@@itzrenzo8960nah 6.4 came out in 2011-2014 srt8 with 5 speed. 2006-2010 srt8 is 6.1 with 5 speed. 2015 is when then the 392 got the 8 speed and new body style and name change to just srt and scat pack rt 392s

@@itzrenzo8960 no problem I was like that a few years back to. I thought once I seen srt8 it was automatically a 6.1. once I found out 2011-14 srt8 had 6.4 I said fuck them scats and 2015 and up 392 ain't no point. 6.1 still cool with me
