The G37 comes in both coupe and sedan form along with a convertible model. You can get the G37 with as a RWD or AWD luxury vehicle. Base price for the 2012 Infiniti G37 is $36,400 with the top of the line sport convertible costing $51,300.
Infiniti has always been the leader in horsepower in the entry level luxury sedan segment and the G37 continues that tradition. The engine powering the 2012 Infiniti G37 sport is a 3.7 liter V-6 that pumps out 328 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of torque. You can get a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission. Of course the automatic is better for fuel economy but the manual transmission is a blast to have. Gas mileage ratings are 19 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway.
A couple of great features found on the Sport Model of the Infiniti G37 is the Intelligent AWD system which monitors wheel spin and adapts to changing road conditions, the sport tuned suspension, Viscous Limited Slip Differential, larger brakes, and 18-inch aluminum rims with performance tires.
On the inside of the 2012 Infiniti G37 we find firm yet luxurious seats. The Seats on the Sport Model have adjustable side bolsters to fit your driving style. The interior design is a bit simple but there are lots of great features. The Shodo Aluminum trim looks great alongside the gauges. Intelligent Cruise Control automatically keeps your vehicle at a safe distance when enabled. The touch-screen hard drive navigation system has voice recognition, SiriusXM satellite radio, and more. Infiniti engineers put a lot of time and effort into designing the Infiniti Studio on Wheels by BOSE sound system.
If you have between $35k and $50k to spend on a sedan and you are looking at the luxury car segment; then the 2012 Infiniti G37 is a great car that is tough to beat.

Amazing car, but finding a manual is almost impossible. I test drove an automatic x today.. it was incredible. Gotta find a 6 speed though!

simple interior a bad thing? Infiniti has the nicest interior out of any other car hands down. These old guys never mention the Bose sound system which alone is enough for me to buy the car. Stop comparing and start reviewing.

tbh i dont like the bose sound system, my sisters jetta gli fender trim has better sound and bass than my g37 stock bose system. I guess its just fender > bose, but imma just install a sub instead.

The G has always been my fav in this segment, the reliability is so much better than BMW or Mercedes and especially Audi. The VQ engine is the best is segment. The next G will share bits with the upcoming C-Class, I hope this doesn't affect the car's reliability

I didnt take whatever he said to heart, I love the Infiniti G but like he said the G37 is still pending an entire redesign for next year. I love the way it looks now but the Infiniti G and Lexus IS are going to be the new sedans in the segment for 2013. The BMW 3 series sounds promising but comparing a new generation with an old generation of competitors is just irrelevant so his comparisons are quite flawed in that aspect. With Mercedes now partners with Infiniti its going to be amazing!

If he's going to compare to BMW, Mertz, or Audi, he should also mention the price differences which skyrocket on the german cars for no good reason... i also know many ppl who have problems with BMWs but dont know any who have problems with Infiniti... Also, the 7 spd Sports AE auto (which i own) has 3 driving modes, D, DS, and S with paddle shifters so u can drive it as a manual... and has alot more center console room than this 6 spd manual g37...

+atamotua64 How is the climate control in this Infiniti G37? My family owned a Nissan Stanza for 10 years and when we turned the heat on in the winter, it would take forever for the temperature inside the car to warm up. Now we own a Toyota Camry and the temperature inside warms up really quickly when we turn the heat on in the winter (what a difference). Also I read that Nissans tend to have poor climate control. Is it the same for Infinitis?

I drove a G37 and down shifted to second on the freeway at 60mph and actually laid down rubber scared the shit out of me because it fish tailed a bit and I loved the duel clutch and the paddle shifts.

No, the next generation IPL G37 coupe is to be priced a little over its direct competitor the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG according to Infiniti news press, give or take a couple grand north of the C63 but certainly way less then the $98,000 asking price in the GTR, which to me for a super car is a BARGAIN! If I had to guess I think Infiniti will demanding somewhere around $70,000 at the most for their new IPL coupe. The good thing is the G37 coupe has already established a place in the Luxury market.

I'm also 6ft and I have an a4 and its not cramped in the front at all maybe we have diffenrent builds lol. I also drove a friends g37. The g was wickely fast but thats about it the sports package makes the ride rock hard. It took my friend driving both vehicles to see that although this car has the power the ride along fit and finish just aren't up to par with the my car. Both of us have fully optioned 2012 models mine prestige his this model with the seven speed...

Its already been confirmed that the next-generation G powered by a twin-turbo V6 will produce 530 Hp!! The relationship between Infiniti and Mercedes-Benz is picking up full steam and will go beyond the upcoming Benz-based compact. Infiniti will be producing next-generation four-cylinder engines for both Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti models. IPL-spec G will feature a 3.7-liter twin-turbo V6 powerplant pumping out 530 hp and will be priced on par with the C63 AMG coupe.

What an Audi fan boy. Test drove EVRERY single car in that segment. Audi A4 doesn't touch this car in terms of performance and space. I'm 6 ft and around 230 and the A4 was cramped at the shoulders and hips. The only car I considered as much was the BMW 3 series. But it was cramped for my size. In this segment it's the 3 series and Infinity G37 then there's everything else. Like the Audi but to me not in the same league in my opinion. Love my Infinity!!!

@incediery. IRS just a matter of opinion. I in no way knock the A4 I just didn't feel as comfortable. The leg room in the backseat of the Audi was cramped for my kids. As a matter of fact when I purchased my G sedan I also test drove a 3 series, CTS, Lexus ES, Acura TL and of course A4 and believe it or not it was a VERY TOUGH decision. But what won me over was Infiniti was roomier (I'm also 240lbs lol we are probably different builds) and Audi's reliability issues. Infinitti won me over.

Audi interiors look nice, but the quality isn't any better than their VW counterparts. I was appalled how cheap and chinsy a 2006 A6 felt inside! It was like a Jetta. I know BMW isn't for "everyone" but at least the overall quality of their vehicles stands up with their asking price.

I have a FX35 2004 2wd with a stillen cold air intake and a stage 3 super charger went from 280bhp to 500bhp 4000k later but worth it. It's almost too scary to drive and a little annoying if you want to cruise because it will break the rear a bit.

+Kuba Swierczek Idk, I've got the stock AWD sedan and I'm seeing about 17mpg city (averaging throttle inputs), and 30mpg highway (70mph) or 25mpg (80mph). Do you drive in traffic and on a track all the time? Haha thats all I can think of for 12mpg with this car
