Oke, my tdi did shake the whole gearbox apart after switching to singlemass. But i know my car was not running smooth back than, and the problem was the diesel software upgrade from volkswagen. Now the car is tuned en running way smoother. Did youre car have the updated software from volkswagen, or dont they do it in the usa? Any futher mods on youre car?

A load of rubbish what do you think cars used to be run on before a dmf was invented I changed mine 25000 miles ago no issues

Michael re join Bradford I have personally seen these failures and they have been reported widely on this model, we will soon see what is rubbish lol

@@khulisomuloiwa9620 any car can have gear box failure don’t just blame the fw but let’s face it they drive theses cars like idiots So they are going to fall apart no matter what f W they have in

I did mine. same car exactly.. been going 30k miles and no issues. The only noise I notice is is the NVH from about 1k-2200 RPMs. I also changed the tranny fluid and added some moly lube. Only time will tell if the gearbox shreds it self. It certainly sounds like it is a little 😒
