No too many people will buy this Jeep to do that, but It is nice to known it can do it, Jeeps beats all the others Good show.

I have grown to love this thing, my wife and I are probably going to buy one. That being said, we're not buying it for its off road capabilities, that's what I have my TJ for. We're buying this because it's smaller than our bigass 05 Grand Cherokee that my wife drives, and it has good gas mileage, while allowing me to stay loyal to the Jeep brand. It looks like a great car.

The more videos and pictures I see the more this thing is growing on me, but I'll still hold onto my XJ for awhile. I think if I left the XJ in the garage with my wife's Saturn VUE and let them breed, this would be the result.

Love this great example that shows the older stuff is better. Almost any pickup or suburban class vehicle from the 1970's could do better on this track. I was waiting for some old beat up toyota to come along and pass all those new cars. :)

For how these things are set up they do pretty good could be better not as good as the old xjs but they don't make um like they used to

Many said that about the new Liberty back in 2002, and it turned out to be pretty good and gain some respect. Who knows? Maybe this will be great and maybe it will flop. Hopefully it's great. Jeep needs to get their shit back together and build some good quality material.

Vid obviously for newbies and that's fine, but pretty boring for us who wheel often and don't need a spotter to get around every little curve and wowwie. Guy getting "stuck" just doesn't know about the importance of momentum...you can lose traction in pretty much anything if you don't know what you're doing. I'm getting one soon so I watch pretty much anything about them, but this is for beginners. Cool, tho, get's you out of that housing development in the background and out for a dog run or a pic-nic, do the mess around. The more you wheel the better you get at it. Cheers!

Boy, if I wanted to go that slow I'd take a Horse! Full electronic control IS the way of the future & Jeep has it down now.........eventually someone is going to drive one of these "rough & fast" the way most drive their 4X4s'.....having the machine drive "for you" is OK for some but not all of us.

Ok, this Jeep is growing on me, and I admire Jeep for advancing their technology and trying to be modern. However, if I was going to buy a car for aerodynamics and modernity, I would probably look at a Nissan or Hyundai. I would prefer my Jeep to look more rugged.

Yea this was pretty lame. Looks like something my '03 Liberty could handle with two open diffs - certainly lacking the BLD and Elec. Rear Locking Diff. being utilized on these Cherokees.

thats offroad? id challenge that with a stock XJ in 2wd.

It seems to me that it takes the off-roading aspect out of it. The vehicle controls everything. Put this thing up against mine and mine would win.

wow. good thing it has a rear locker, i saw nothing for articulation. i'm not trying to hate on these kl's, but these look to be perfect for the soccer moms and pavement pounders. i get that jeep needs to be competitive with other car manufactures and increase fuel ratings to meet cafe standards, but this is not that impressive for "off-roading." anyway, good luck, jeep.

What a sorry excuse for a Jeep. IFS, Electronics doing everything for you. And, what a lame trail. You have to be kidding me if those people that were running that event, thought it was a tough trail. I'll keep my WJ, SA front and rear and the mechanical Quadra Drive 1 system. I'm sorry, but my WJ stock would out perform these jeeps. Any day of the week. Just another (car), that Jeep can put the trail ready decal on and think that it's ready.
