2014 Nissan Versa Note Blower Motor Replacement

This particular vehicle is a 2014 Nissan Versa Note with about 95,000 miles at the time of repair. I replaced the blower motor and the resistor. Unfortunately, I did not record this on video at the time, but I did have some photos I took with my cell phone. Seeing as others are having this same issue with not a ton of information available online about this repair, I figured that this small contribution might potentially be of some help to others.

I apologize for not having this on video, I didn't think to record it at the time. This is a voiceover explaining the repair process and showing the few photos that I took during the job. This job was done in June of 2022 at around 95,000 miles. It is currently April 2023, almost 1 year and about 7,000 miles later and the blower motor and resistor are still working perfectly. These are the parts that I used from RockAuto: Blower Motor: Four Seasons 75013 Blower Resistor: Standard Motor Products RU916 I know this video isn't the most helpful one available but someone may find something useful within it if they are tasked with doing this repair.

Amazon the blower motor for this vehicle same as I've got 31.00 if you want to do it yourself resistor was 10 bucks

Please, share parts numbers so i could find them a littlebit easier. This nightmare of a job is ahead of me,,,

I did this repair a little over a year ago and it’s been perfect since. I used RockAuto for my parts, great prices and fast shipping. Removing the seat did help a ton with being able to lay in the floorboard. The job wasn’t necessarily hard, just time consuming. Technically only my blower motor needed replaced but I also replaced the resistor too since it was right there and I didn’t want to redo this job later. Blower motor: Four Seasons with Wheel 75013 Resistor: Standard Motor Products RU916 Both from RockAuto. These parts worked great for me and have held up. Good luck to you

I agree it is a big job but there are worse blower motor jobs. Volvo!!!

Yeah this one was annoying. It was still within the realm of what a “homeowner” mechanic could do themselves but it’s a poor design. If the Volvo is as bad as it sounds I’d probably just pay to have it done.
