Ben played pretty good against Kane, Kane's serves look impossible to return, especially his z's

I'm 63 now and no longer play due to various old-man issues. I played for over 20 years and got pretty darn good, say mid-A on a club level. But when I stayed away (and got old and slow) the absolute FIRST thing I'd lose was a decent return of serve. I can stand there and hit decent shots once the balls in play, but if I can't get my racquet on the serve, the point is over. Man I MISS this game.

Whoever was reffing this match doesn't have a clue about service rules. Almost all of Ben's drive serves to the right side were faults because his racquet was breaking the plane of the 2nd red line. Most of them were not even close, rather they were blatant violations.

Your foot has to be behind the line or touching it, that’s the rule you were thinking of

If you don't think I know what I am talking about, how about letting the rule-breaker himself explain it to you! Ha ha ha. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/lZx2rLiHmquukqc.html Slow the video player on KZfaq down to 0.25 speed and watch the serve at 1:42, for example. He's WAAAAAAAY over that line. Not even close. Yet the referee didn't call it. I'm surprised Kane didn't say anything, but he knew all along Ben couldn't beat him, so it really didn't matter.

I think I'm going to trust the guy refing Kane Waselenchuk, former #1 and Ben Croft, top 10 IRT, over a youtube commenter claiming a rule. Never heard of this "plane of 2nd red line" rule.
