This week I present to you the full Drive & Sound with the all new 2014/2015 Audi A3 S-Line Sedan/Limousine powered by the well known 2.0 TDi delivering 150 hp and 340 Nm of torque. This particular car also comes with the 6-speed S-Tronic (double-clutch) transmission and rolls on 19 inch wheels with 235/35 R19 tires. That probably is the reason why the 0-200 km/h time is not as impressive as you might think and noticeable slower than an 1.4 TFSI with 140 hp that I tested a few month ago. But the latter one ran only on 205er 16 inch wheels and that has an significant impact. Besides that I can only repeat my positive feedback over the A3 Sedan in general, as I think it has the perferct size if you are not traveling with the family all the time and feels equally at home on curvy country roads and long Autobahn travels. The steering is great just as in any other A3 & Golf 7 that I have driven but what really surprised me was the ride comfort of this car. Although it had the 19 inch wheels it was a lot more comfortable than I expected, just be sure NOT to order the S-Line suspension (-25mm compared to dynamic suspension). Ok, enough for now. Sehr geiles auto. Kannst du mir sagen welche Felgen da drauf sind ? Den Namen Bzw wo ich die finden kann? Wäre nice Danke . Ich überleg 18 zoller zu holen aber 19 sehen auch sehr nice aus . Müssen auch nicht extra eingetragen werden oder so richtig ? Gruß dennis

Can you test a base a3 with the 1.6 tdi and a manual gearbox . It's the only engine available in my country and I'd like to know your opinion about it . Great video as always , keep up the good work !

Beautiful car, so much so, I bought one! The only annoyance I'm finding is the whistle noise that can be heard at 0:24... My car does it as well. Can anybody help me understand what is the source of such whistle. My Audi Service garage already replaced the turbo twice and it's still there. The majority of the 2.0 tdi 150hp engines I heard don't do this.

it´s the blow-off from the turbo if i dont misshear it.. thats a normal sound so far

kann man diese doofe sicherung das man im stand erst auf die bremse treten muss um auf D zu schalten eig auch ausschalten?

Ayntak Die Bremse muss immer getreten werden wenn die Fahrstufen gewechselt, zumindest zwischen P und D. Da sollte das Auto sicherheitshalber immer mit der Bremse zusätzlich festgehalten werden sonst erstünde das Risiko eines Getriebeschadens.

Automann-TV Danke für die schnelle Antwort. Das verstehe ich auch vollkommen, aber bei meinem Passat z.B. muss ich die Bremse sogar betätigen wenn ich nur von N auf D schalte während die Ampel wieder auf Grün springt. Das war bei meinem BMW nicht so.

Ayntak Während der Fahrt vielleicht nicht. Aber im Stand muss auch bei BMW immer die Bremse getreten werden um den Hebel zu entriegeln. Es geht einfach um den Punkt SICHERHEIT. Egal ob es für den einen oder anderen logisch erscheint oder nicht. Stell' Dir vor der Hebel rutscht in irgendeiner Situation, wo das NICHT passieren sollte, von N auf D! Dann will ich aber nicht vor dem Auto stehen!

Tengo un honda civic 2.2 icdti 140cv y anda igual a este ultimo A3 ...en que han cambiado los coches?..a si ,este audi tiene 10cv nas 0.200cm cúbicos menos y hace de 0 a 100km/h 0.5segundos mas rápido...pues vaya cambio ...eso si cuesta 45000€..vaya con el cambio

Different wind conditions during my Tests, an the 1.4 was on 16 inch while this is on 19 inch wheels.

It's the same Car. In the U.S it's called saloon.

it's called a sedan in the US. Saloon in the UK. Limousine in central Europe/Germany.

6.5 l/km. You were driving on the highway most of the time, i get 10 l/km urban with the TFSI 1.8....

He was also flooring it most of the time. Highway fuel consumption means cruising at a high but relatively constant speed. Fast acceleration like that will burn much more fuel than driving normally, even in the city.

Auf die Gefahr hin, dass ich mich hier unbeliebt mache... ich finde der Diesel klingt außen schrecklich und innen gerade so tolerabel. Innenraumgeräusch vom Motor scheint nicht gerade leise zu sein. Ansonsten peile ich die nächsten Wochen eine Probefahrt mit dem 1.5er Benziner an. Bin gespannt.

Stupid is thinking that the gloves have a minimum horsepower requirement. He is using them not to sweat on the steering weel. It is not his car so it makes sense

Got an A4Q Avant with this engine (with M6. not DSG) - from sixt in FRA airport, it was terrible. Big Dislike. Changed the car to 116d-M and that was a much better car to drive. Even the less powerful engine was much refined then the audi's. Good combo with the GREAT ZF8. Audi keep on doing boring cars (Yes, S1 / S3 / S5 are boring cars to drive, compare to 135M / 235M / A45 AMG / M3 / M4 / C63 AMG). Thats a shame.

Great.. Just what is needed.. An unreliable Limo... Check Consumer Reports.. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Porsche.. All are terrible when it comes to reliability.. With the only exception being the Mercedes E Class only.. Not sure what that is... And the E Class was marginal...

What are you talking about...mercedes c class is boss here.It has higher maintenance cost but is reliable then both audi and bmw, where do you even get with this info
