Do you have the part number for that Denzo 02 sensor I have the same issue
@svann471 Жыл бұрын
Hi Halffast719, this is a great video you put out. I have a 2014 Q7 TDI, and I wanted to do the same as you did as I have disgusting white soots on the tailpipes and all over the rear bumper. I have to clean every drive when I got home. Would you be so kind as to let me know the part numbers for the DPF and Cat, please? It looks like you still have the Adblue injector. Do still need the Adblue fluild added? Thanks in advance.
@Halffast719 Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I don’t have the q7 anymore but yeah it had the def injector still but it was turned off in the tune. If you go to DarksideDevelopment.com you gan find everything you need to delete it. Somewhere on one of my videos I listed and had links to everything but I can’t find it. I got a 2014 Audi A6 TDI now, not deleted yet and it doesn’t do all the white stuff on the rear bumper.

So you unplugged all pressure sensors and the diesel particulate sensor? Did it matter which o2 sensor you hooked and which one you unplugged? I just did the complete egr delete while I was changing the oil cooler on my wife’s Q5 3.0 TDi. Know I’m fabing up a downpipe and not sure how many sensor bungs to weld on.
@Halffast719 Жыл бұрын
I didn’t unplug any sensors. The tune turns them off but I’d definitely recommend removing the pressure sensors and nox sensors and plugging them. One of mine had so much soot on it I had to put it in an ultrasonic cleaner to clean it.

Was your delete worth the money and hassle? Did you have any problems with it? Would you recommend it? Mine is a 2013 prestige.
@Halffast7192 жыл бұрын
Yes. Knowing that I won’t need to replace my catalytic converter and DPF after 175k miles it’s definitely worth it. Hardest part was finding and getting all the parts. Here in California it’s dang near impossible.

Really appreciate this video. Watched it 2 times in prep for installing on my 15 Treg. Do you recall if your pipe came with gaskets and nuts? Mine didn’t :/ waiting to hear back from Rawtek
@Halffast7198 ай бұрын
I believe they came with gaskets but no hardware if I remember correctly. I ended up going to Lowe’s and got stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts.
@treythehardway8 ай бұрын
@@Halffast719 thanks for the reply. I’ll probably do the same. Got new gaskets from ECS for cheap enough. Disappointing Rawtek doesn’t supply a slightly more rounded out/consistent product.

Do you know if the engine has an egt pyro pre turbo on obd2 ? Any perticular reason u went with the pipe with less sensors or are those pointless to have after delete?
@Halffast719Ай бұрын
Yes there is and here’s a link parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi_2015_Q7/Exhaust-Gas-Temperature-EGT-Sensor/51113251/059906088CL.html I went with no sensors because they’re deleted in the ecu. The car is gonna have more soot going through the exhaust and not through the egr so I didn’t want to plug the sensors up.

I’m looking at buying a 2015 q7 Tdi…did this delete make the Tdi more reliable and better mpg (as well as performance)?
@Halffast719 Жыл бұрын
Yes. Way more reliable. I was getting an extra 3-7 MPGs better and 3 oil changes after the delete the oil was really clean, no more soot and carbon chunks in the oil since the egr was blocked off.
@dnorm893 ай бұрын
Did you do anything with the two lines from the DPF? Did you plug them or just leave them hanging and open?
@Halffast7193 ай бұрын
Yes I plugged them off.

Whats the main benefit to the heat wrap? Just less heat to the car ?
@Halffast719Ай бұрын
Yeah it keeps the floor and firewall cooler. Less heat in the engine compartment too. You don’t want your engine sucking in too much hot air.
@manuel509rios Жыл бұрын
Great video, looking to get one of these, but worried about any engine problems, did you have any issues during your ownership of it? I would like to do the delete if I end up getting it
@Halffast719 Жыл бұрын
Great car and it was perfect for what I used it for. All I can recommend is, if you aren’t going to drive long distances or at least 200 miles of long distance out of every 1000 miles I would suggest not buying one. If you’re just looking to run around town stay away unless you delete it. The soot these produce is a lot and it gums up everything from the EGR all the way to the valves then you’ll have to have everything cleaned and valves walnut blasted. Expensive.
@manuel509rios Жыл бұрын
@@Halffast719 yeah i figured it would need to be driven, which is why we are looking for one. I went to see one with 160k miles and it was in perfect condition might pull the trigger on that one

eBay Stahlbus quick drain plug. I believe. Check what size your old one is first. I ordered a 14mm because that’s what google said but ended up being a 12mm and my A6 TDI is a 14mm so it worked out.

If your county does Not require a smog check you can delete all the EPA's bs. But be sure your oil should be 5W30
Wrong oil. Use oil recomended from Audi only, my friend. This Rotella T-4 is for some diesels, but you need Oil luke Xado 5W30 full syntetic. This engine needs only 5W30
