I Owned a 3.6 for about 6 months, and it was very love hate however when it worked it was amazing such a quick car you’d never expect it.

My Friend you really know what you are talking about, for the same reasons you are describing I own 2 2015 200C AWD Both silver one with the same rims as the one you showed with black Nappa leather interior and the second one with the 19" rims with cream close to white also Nappa leather, both with the real wood trim and the LED Package both with the 3.6 L , BOTH ARE A BLAST to drive, completely in love with them, you are absolutely right, Im sure the late Sergio Marchionne head of FCA decided to stop producing these cars because they where NOT making any money, I strongly believe the interiors are better than the Ghibli, I replaced the brake pads last year and noticed ALFA ROMEO stamped on the calipers and some other suspension parts!! SO I GUESS IS AN ALFA ROMEO with a Chrysler Engine!

They are definitely a beautiful 😻 only issue had was a change battery! Had mines for almost 2 yrs and counting! Been tempted to trade several times before, but I just can’t I love ❤️ my Chrysler 200c

I was sad when Chysler gave up on the 200. I had a 2014 with the PentaStar and loved it. I really wanted the new model but rumors of transmission issues made me hold back. I figured I'd wait and get it in a year or two once the new model bugs got worked out. On a side note, could you imagine that engine in a Dart? I would've been epic!

The only thing to watch out for on the AWD models is the PTU can go out unexpectedly. Especially if you have Mismatch tires Mine went out after I had my crappy ass tires that the dealer i bought mine from refused to replace after I fought with them about it so after I had got my tires replaced else where about a few weeks ago my “Service AWD comes on” I took it to an Chrysler dealer and I got my PTU fixed under warranty. Best believe if you are buying one of these with the AWD get an lifetime extended warranty from FCA. It will save you the hassle the headache and stress.

@@karmahitsbtw4032 177,000 on mines and yeah. Coolant leaks and a oil leak but nothing constant or to leave me stranded.

@@abelcazares2867 no sir that’s a Subaru issue LOL. ive just had a coolant leak and the same oil leak twice. No head gaskets though. Pick one up you’ll love it especially if it’s the 4 cyl they don’t have the issue I just named. The oil leak was the oil filter housing, the coolant leak I can’t remember I think it was the thermostat. Both cheap repairs for the most part.

Great review!! I always thought these were really good looking cars. Chrysler only built them for a few years. The 3.6 is a great motor. Only issues I heard with them was with the ZF auto transmission.

The ZF in this car is better and stronger than the Chrysler built trans in the regular FWD 4cyl models. I have one and it’s never let me down

@@91myroc they come standard with the 9 speed on 2.4 and v6. Now they come on 1.3T in renegade, and 2.0 Cherokee as well as a bunch of other cars and manufacturers.

Hello mate! This video and review is awesome! You proved me that this engine sounds really good and behavie quite good. I come from Poland and I plan to buy this miracle car. Im looking for 200s 3.6 AWD, and the most probably I will have to bring him bymyself from USA/Canada. The thing I would like to know before I find my dreamed one is what do I shall focused one? What is the weakes part of this car, and could be damaged by previous owner? Maybe anyone else could reccomend me something? One more thing - I heard that this car has an restriction speed to 196 km/h (about 120mph) is that true? Is is possible to take it off by kind of software (easy to access let say) Thanks in advance!

Transmisson, electronics ie Radio etc. Also not sure what the lawa are where your from. But you can get the ECM tuned for around $600 and will eliminate the governor plus some other fun stuff. Keep in mind the tires are only rated for the current speed possible(120mph)

@@loganberry7754 thanks for your reply. Our marked is really poor so im still trying to find dreamed one. The law here is kind of "indifderent". I heard that 4x4 is not issueless. What can you tell me about this? Is this something that i shoudl really bother or its really random (let say one of ten)

@@pr0None Personally I haven't heard/had any problems with the AWD. Like all cars maintenance is important. Also make sure when buying tires buy them all 4 together to prevent any premature wear on AWD components.

Only critique that may affect a newer driver, the sight lines are a bit lacking. Don't have a big 360 degree view of surroundings compared to something like a camry or accord.

On trips I usually get 28 MPG or so or better, around town more like 18-20

One weak spot on the Pentastar V6 is the plastic oil cooler (YES, PLASTIC) mounted under the intake manifold. If you have one of these v6's and see drops of oil in the driveway or garage floor, don't wait for the oil cooler to fail, replace it with an all aluminum version which will never fail.
