Really like the looks of these old school motorcycles as it's what I grew up on. Most of all I love the sound.

+CLUTCH1ST Yeah, I know. The Classic one that I took the photo of in the video had a completely different look with that seat on it. Ducati were very clever with this one as they know that they are going to sell heaps of parts with the whole customisation angle.

+SoopaBee It's well worth a test ride mate! I do love the look of the wire wheels over the cast ones but the colour scheme of the full throttle is quite nice too. I'd like to mix and match models if I had one. Thanks mate!

I will be looking to get my motorbike license later this year and this bike looks super awesome. I was thinking of the Honda VTR 250 but if this bike has a LAMs variation it is definitely a strong contender. Thanks Mr Aus Adventure
@MrAusadventure
@MrAusadventure 8 жыл бұрын
+Charles The LAMS Scrambler will be a lot more $$ than the VTR I imagine. But it would be a very cool bike. I actually know someone with a VTR 250 that they will most likely be selling soon. It's been well looked after from what I know. Where are you located?

+shadetree surgeon If I was in the position to afford multiple motorcycles, I would consider this for those short mountain runs and about town. So much fun to ride and I love the style of it. But, I still need a touring motorbike and although you could do long trips on this, I doubt it would be as practical as my Strom. :-)

+Dracati Ducati Thanks for the kind words mate. I really appreciate it. :-) It is a really fun bike to ride. I reckon you'd love it. Very nice review mate I was looking for all round purpose bike seems this will fit in so is it good for long trip also like 100-200 kms ? roads here are not that much good and heavy traffic also
@MrAusadventure
@MrAusadventure 8 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! It is a great little bike. If I could afford to have maybe 2 or 3 bikes, then I'd really consider this one. It would be great for rides of 200km or even more here on our roads, but it depends on the road surfaces and the speed that you can travel I guess. I only had the bike for 30 minutes, which was nowhere near long enough to see how it would be on a long ride. It would be great for whizzing through heavy traffic due to it being nimble with loads of torque.

Good vid mate - looks like quite a fun bike. Personally I think it's well overpriced for what it is - a fairly simple bike. It does have decent suspension and the Ducati name, I guess, but when you compare to what Honda can offer on the X, and even, a better direct comparison maybe - a brand new V Strom price - well I think they're a bit up their own pert, Italian arses ;-) Having said that I'm a sucker for anything with that old styling, would love a 70's Honda 750/4 if I was to buy on looks alone... always loved that look :) A definite bonus in the sound of the exhaust!
@MrAusadventure
@MrAusadventure 8 жыл бұрын
+CaptainCranky Yeah, i know what you mean. You are paying a price over and above the value of the bike for the Ducati name and that style that goes with it. Still, the components are no doubt pretty good quality I guess, but I imagine servicing costs would also be well above what a similar Japanese bike would be. If money was not an issue, I'd have one though to go along with the other multiple bikes that I'd love to own.

Nice product placement for the sleeve vents, where's the link to buy ;>) I am going to rush out and buy a 2016 Ducati Scrambler...................coffee mug ;>) A LAMS version coming out soon, new riders have so many great choices.
@MrAusadventure
@MrAusadventure 8 жыл бұрын
+Bikes & Drones Yep, I'll sneak the Ventz in anywhere I can. :-p I can see a LAMS version of this being extremely popular here. The whole marketing of the bike is designed to bring new motorcyclists in, which works in the USA, but at 803cc, it does not work here, so a LAMS option is the obvious choice.

I think they look so much better with the spoke wheels compared to the cast wheels, I like the Classic and the Urban myself but I was quite surprised when I sat on one at a bike show how small it was, I'm only 6 foot and felt to big for it, Good ride review buddy, RSM8.
@MrAusadventure
@MrAusadventure 8 жыл бұрын
+Skeggy Cruiser I agree. I'd like to mix and match some other features with one of the wired wheel models as I reckon they suit the style of bike much better than than the cast rims. The size felt small to me too, but most bikes do after riding my V-Strom. It was not too small for me though. Thanks Skeggy. RS2M8 :-)

170kg = 374lb. I think it would look interesting with some clip ons.. Not sure what the bike is meant to be used for , off road/ on road , is it a cafe style , a naked bike ,I have no idea but way too expensive anyway.
@MrAusadventure
@MrAusadventure 8 жыл бұрын
+MX Tex 🚲 You are right! I didn't even pick that up in editing as I copied and pasted from a website with the specifications of the bike. DOH! I think it is all of the above depending on what you use it for and if you customise it or not. But it is severely limited on dirt with that suspension. Flat track racer is the best description perhaps. It's not too badly priced as far as Ducatis go, or a lot of European bikes for that matter, but yeah, it's out of my budget range.
@JustTex
@JustTex 8 жыл бұрын
I just saw the over 400 lb and thought wow that's heavy.. oh yes of course it a flat track style bike, makes sense. And guess it is reasonable priced compared to other ducati's. Sure does sound like a fun bike to ride though. Cheers

The Enduro weighs 423 pounds wet. It is somewhat a cross beween a street bike, dirt bike and adventure bike. But is none of those really. It will perform well enough as a city/street bike and ok on fire roads but not as a hard core trail bike. As an adventure bike, well, long distance travel would not be comfortable on this bike. So, one would be bettter served on a mid weight Adventure bike like maybe the KTM 790 Adventure S. just saying But if one could pick up aused one at the right price ...
