Driving a 2015 IC CE with a MaxxForce DT. This bus is equipped with an exhaust brake also, which was on.

I miss the 2013 IC CE I used to ride. It had a Maxxforce but the engine got shot this year and now they are selling it here once Christmas is over with. Going to miss it but we still have our 2015 IC CE (handicap)

Just like my new bus route 778 but is a 2010 navistar version is grey charcle interior like that one is grey in the sides where the dome lights are the roof is grey too in it have a strobe light in it in is got a Panasonic Radio to listen some nice music 🎶 in it 👍🏻🤩🥰

Awesome video!!! I spent the summer in the Buffalo area so its cool seeing a driving video on streets that I recognize. I've always loved the sound of the DT too.

Can you go full speed with exhaust brake on. And let foot off gas and immediately move the shifter into “2”? And record so it can sound like a c2. I want to show it to mechanics

Kodie S We have a lot of 2015's with LED, I would love to ride those but of course we got the good ol' 2012 CE (but it still sounds good though,) Our 2015's have LED too!

AMAZING VIDEO!!! THIS ic ce SOUNDS DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHER ic ce 200 BUSES, BECAUSE IT SOUNDS FAMILIAR TO THOSE TRUCKS THAT HAVE THE SAME ENGINE LIKE THIS!!!

Our 2015 and 2016 CEs have them. But nobody ever uses them. A waste of money imo if you're not gonna use it

Most 2015-16 CEs come equipped with them... I believe it's a standard feature now, not sure

08 Thomas EF This one has the PTS2500, 4 may have had the 1500 or 2000 which would make the shift points different.

Kodie S 4 is a 2010; wasn't the 2500 the standard option by that point? Can't say I know for sure. :-\

Kodie S I was never clear on the chronology of Allison transmissions. Is the 2500 standard now, or has it never been? If not, is/was the 2000 the standard transmission since they discontinued the 545?

08 Thomas EF From what I understand the 1500/2000 are the standard, 2500 and 3000 are upgrades.

Has the Maxxforce DT discontinued in 2015?? And this bus for sure sounds like Northwest Local School District, and the IC CE Turn signals sound different and higher than the 2010-2015 turn signals?

The MaxxForce was discontinued in 2015 after 2016 production. They put a new flasher in the buses starting with 2015 buses so they are easier to hear.

I've never heard of an exhaust brake but is that what is make the MFDT sound like that?

Nashawn03-12 The only time it's really audible is when letting off the accelerator, it creates more of a groaning noise which is hard to describe. It's not as noticeable as your typical "jake brake"

+HUNTER Livingston Some routes yes.. this particular one I made my own route for because it was a YMCA camp. Most days were the same, once in awhile we'd take them elsewhere.
