Competitors to this car - as cited in the written review linked below - include the Ford Fusion Hybrid, Honda Accord Hybrid, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, and Kia Optima Hybrid. The Prius Hybrid is only mentioned as it is in the same technical size class, by the same manufacturer, and price may overlap, so they may be cross-shopped. Prius is rated significantly better in the EPA cycle at the expense of speed potential.

I liked the 2014 before the refresh...or redesign...didn't realize how much I liked it until I gave i up.

After repeating many times that it isn't #1 concerning mpg and that you would like to have seen the numbers go up, you never shared what the mpg is.

Shannon Simecek There's a whole review linked. www.hybridcars.com/2015-toyota-camry-hybrid-review-video/ Its fuel economy remains the same 43 mpg city, 38 highway, 41 combined for the LE; the SE/XLE is rated 40 mpg, city 38 highway, and 40 combined. We shot this in Huntington Beach late after a long day with the Mirai FCV launch and had one take in waning light.

The upcoming 2018 Camry should get 50 MPG or at least very close to it.
