I have this very vehicle if anyone wants a vehicle to recondition. It's trim 2. 218k miles new tires and noon battery. Interior is good condition no stains, no smell, no smoking. Left headlight was replaced but haven't done the right yet. Left taillight was replaced too. Clearcoat is pealing but has been garaged to prevent further damage. It gets 48-52(depending on octane) mpg. 9 gallon tank gets 400-480 miles per tank(again depending on octane, and foot 🦶🏻 of driver 😉I'm a easy does it foot).

It has GPS but when I had it second year it gave me wrong direction, I found out they put 2012 in a 2013. They wanted $1200 to update it.

I like your review!!! Direct and informative! Actual data of the car is shared instead of them videos with bunch of useless narrative!!! Thank you!

Hyundai is having a problem, or should I say the consumer is having a problem, with these cars just stopping at random with no warning. Google it! It is a scary situation when it happens. Also, Hyundai is very slow at trying to diagnose the problem with long lead times and repair times and will NOT OFFER a rental car during the repair. Some of the cars are in the shop for weeks waiting for the problem to be fixed. So much for Hyundai reliability.

I want to tell you, your reviews are much better than some of the other reviewers I’ve seen for a 2013. I think the techno music definitely should be changed to something else. And I think you may want to write down what you’re going to say before you do it and make more iContact with the camera! It will show us that you’re confident about what you’re saying and that you’re engaged

For highway driving, our Avalon gets almost as good mileage as the Prius C. In City driving the Prius is nearly double the Avalon. Our King Ranch, one ton diesel beats both of them pulling a trailer. All three are excellent at what they are made for. The Prius C is a nice little car but no one can do a review without a tone of negative. If it was loaded and deluxe it wouldn't do it's job so well.

Thank you for an informative video. I have one question please. Is is true that this model doesn't come with a spare tire? If so, where and how do you store a spare tire when planning a long trip? I appreciate your help.
@jrupchurch87082 жыл бұрын
I own one as well, and there is no spare tire, they give you a pump and tire slim, but it depends on how bad the tire is once it becomes flat, I recommend you get AAA cause you going to need it.

There is a small hesitation in acceleration as was pointed out, but put the car into sport mode for those quick getaways or when merging with fast flowing traffic, and it’s a non issue. I have a 2017 GDi3 model (UK) which is one down from the top of the range GDi4 / Touring model.

Whey there is hesitant on stand mode at Eco mod for the first gear, but at sport mod there isn't hesitant? Maybe for saving battery?

Toyota is known for being very reliable and 'unbreakable', is that also the case with these Ioniqs?? I am saving up for an Auris (16/17) but I am now also doubting between that and an Ioniq... HELP
@crazybusdriver13 жыл бұрын
My wife has an Ioniq and my Father in law owns a Prius, in 2020 my wifes Ioniq averaged 42 mpg in Las Vegas traffic and weather, The Prius averaged 53 mpg in those same conditions for 2020. Toyota wins, nice try Hyundai. My wife is a lead foot driver so they traded cars for 2 months and She still averaged 48 mpg with her aggressive driving in the Prius, so again Toyota wins.

Hybrids are the worst of both worlds , petrol engines are more thirsty when cold as well as carrying batteries and then the lost range of carrying a lump of aluminium in an electric car

Love it. I test drove a prius prime today. It felt pretty punchy. I could spin tires easy, rainy day tho. I want to love the volt. Came up in a chevy family but i fell in love with the reliability of old honda accords. PHEV! I will rarely ever go to a stupid f’n gas station! I didn’t even know the beauty of phev until recently, i need to pay better attention or the marketing needs to step it up. F’ ICE’s!

Do any versions of the 2013 prius c have cruise control? What about Blue Tooth?
@gracelebron35363 жыл бұрын
Hi, some have bluetooth, but not sure about the cruise control. I have a 2013 prius C that has bluetooth but no cruise control.
@josephdebes30602 жыл бұрын
Have a level 4 upgrade: Cruise control/ Bluetooth/ electric retractable or tilting moon roof/satellite radio/navigation system/all voice activated controls/and best of all heated front seats. Who needs to drive 100-110 mph??? In ECO mode getting 55-64 mpg still at 100k miles

Personally I think they made a big mistake in stopping production of this car. I’d rather have this than the Bolt just because charging stations aren’t popular if I do want to travel. And volts are neat even though I prefer the first gen design

If I want to buy one but I don’t have access to a plug in spot most of the time, can I drive this as a regular hybrid?

Recently I m looking for a 2014 q50 but just wondering how much it would cost me to replace the hybrid battery? I heard that could be over 10 grand
@stanley24123 жыл бұрын
10 grand that was a joke. Battery replacement is around $1,500ish. The good part is that factory battery warranty has 7 years or 100,000 miles, I would suggest buying a 2015 model or later - that would get you covered for at least 2 years. You can always purchase extended warranty is you want.

ANYONE know any info on reliability, longevity Ioniq vs Prius, Hyundai vs Toyota....I gotta get me a car, these are my choices but I need it to last
@Simon-ls8xf3 жыл бұрын
Kelly Blue Book : The 2020 Ioniq Hybrid received a 4.4-Star Consumer Reliability Rating and an overall KBB® Consumer Rating of a 4.3. In contrast, the 2020 Prius received a 4.9-Star Consumer Reliability Rating and an overall KBB® Consumer Rating of a 4.7

My wife just bought one of these and I have to say I love that little thing. It goes way better than any of the other small cars I have driven. Powers up hills easily and feels responsive both in steering and throttle. Not to mention it gets almost 60mpg. I find it more fun to drive than my regular prius.
