2 things: 1. There is 3 theme's for the dashboard screen. Elegant/Eco/Sport. Sport was selected on this one. but you can change in the display settings 2. Badge on the steering wheel has volvo text in silver with blue background but many of them has peel off over the years to look that so no it's not like that and same for the badge on the front.

This review came as kind of a surpise to me. We bought a new volvo v60 in 2014, and still own it to this day. Whilst it is not the same car, I think it would be safe to assume they would be fairly similar. Despite being a 2014 model our V60 has a much more modern looking infotainment system. The interior has also held up well. With now over 100k miles on it, it still looks like new. No worn shifter knob, and the leather seats still look and feel new. No cracks like the XC60 you had. It's as if the US got a crappier version of the car. Now I understand personal bias may be involved here. But the weird old infotainment system in that XC60 is just really strange.

Maybe your one is a higher spec. Is your one a 5 cylinder?

@@terrificspokesman7416 nope, it's a D4. So 190hp 4 cylinder diesel.

Looks as if you drove a base model CX60.The Japanese transmission is very reliable. With 117k, who know when or if the tranny fluid has been ever changed. Also, it could need a software update. I'm not into speed anymore. So, my biggest concern is how long this engine will last. A 2.0 with turbo is not likely to last as long as I am used to. And, I definitely would not get one with the additional Supercharger.

Yeah I think Volvo went down hill after they got rid of 5 cylinders

Their supercharged+turbocharged+plug-in hybrid engines are complicated for sure. Many countries put engines over 2L in a higher tax bracket so that's why they had to do it.

My dad has always driven volvo's and currently has a smae generation XC60 with a auto and i dont like it either but it does have adaptive cruise control and do really like that

Btw my dad ordered his xc60 on the last day you could order them so it was one of the last to roll of the production line in Ghent witch i live 5 kilometers away from I've even done a apprenticeship at that production plant

@@bwofficial1776 it’s kinda like the versa but for the mexican market. It was the cheapest car in mexico until it was discontinued in 2015

If you think that dash is dated, you see the interiors of the vehicles I drive, lol! Everything about this XC60 looks cutting edge compared to what I'm used to. Yeah, the XC90 is so much nicer. And priced accordingly.
