Never buy a car in the beginning of the generation, wait until all the kinks are worked out. Usually 2nd or 3rd year of the gen is best

I was having the same problem for the second time. After watching your video I checked the control switch on the passenger side door, and it was locked. Touched it to unlock and now I can control windows and sunroof again from drivers side controls.

Man you are having so many problems with this car. I believe you were getting those issues because your phone was hooked up to the car. I unplugged my phone ad took it off Bluetooth and those messages went away after I restarted my car. I took it to the local dealer even though the messages went away. They said it was safe and there was a bug in the computer system that displays errors that are not really there. They also said there was a system update coming out in several months that will fix this problem. they factory reset my cars computer even though the messages were gone. This was almost 3 months ago and no problems since. The computer system that displays the error is not the same one that apply's the anti lock brakes. they are running off a different computer that takes no command from this computer system. So the brakes are not going to be compressed out of nowhere. Its a glitch being fixed. Yeah I was ticked when I first saw the messages but it is safe to drive.

I'm having the same problem. On top of that, my AC randomly turns off. I was told that Honda was working on a fix for the "known issue" and to check back with the dealership periodically. They also were able to duplicate the problem in the drive of the dealership, but, NEVER notated my account. I called back after 3 months to see what was going on with the fix, but, now they have no clue what I'm talking about. My car is in for service and they can't duplicate it. Can you tell me what they did to your car to "fix it" and if it actually fixed your problem so I can let my dealership know. Thanks!!

i have the exact same car down to the color. And today the exact same problem! Set up an appt w/ Vatland Honda for tomorrow. Only other problem I've had is the battery which they replaced under warranty.

I have the Same Issue as well with My new 2016 Civic EX 2.0! Its annoying, Another issue is with the Touch Screen, It randomly Beeps without me pressing anything. I have brought it the the Dealership like 5 Times and still all these issues... I know the Feeling. Still waiting for them to do something

I feel bad for you. I would be as upset as you if such issues occurred repeatedly without resolution. However, as with any individual product, shit can happen. I just don’t understand how your service could not identify the cause and replace/repair the issue. Either way, I would expect a loaner for as long as the car is in the shop to be fixed.

What did you end up doing with this car? I got a lemon lawyer, Honda is going to inspect it soon.

This is a very simple matter of programming of the windows, it has nothing to do at all with the computer of the car . This matter can be solved in 5 minutes without opening or taking out anything. Bring your car to an expert and you will find out how silly this problem is .

REALLY DISAPPOINTMENT. I have 2015 HR-V and it has many problem. Rattling, front and back end noise, curve windshield, etc. go to service center, they can't do anything and said "it's the character". shame on you Hondashit.

I work at a Honda dealership and have never seen this specific issue. Your control module must be faulty, in which case no software reflashes or updates will help if you have interior component damage to the module's PCB. Sometimes cars mess up, but this is not a wide spread issue so please don't spread false indications that it is. You have a lemon, now your job is to ensure you can prove it legally because all car companies have the tendency to push back to disprove your qualification as much as they can. Such is the reality of a capitalistic economy.

I own the same year and make of the car and yes I had an issue with the computer due to daylight savings time reset. They replaced the computer and no more issues. BTW when you do one of these videos don't act condescending and whiny. The car is NOT dangerous because of minor computer glitches that don't affect safety. My god you young people play the drama card so much.
