I bought my Honda Civic 2016 in May of 2016. So far with 56,000 miles in it all I can say is this is the best car I have ever had. I have it maintained regularly, nothing heavy. Oil changes every 8 thousand miles(Synthetic), Transmission service(once), Air filter and cabin filter, tire rotation. See nothing fancy. After 3 years still feels new. You probably have a lemon.

I have electronic brake problem and I bought a comprehensive warranty for 10 years. Hope they will cover the cost. The software problem is annoying and it’s very dangerous.

That’s the problem with Honda. They never admit. Thank god there’s Toyota who take full responsibility for their actions. Never will buy a car other then Toyota.

@God Trojan reliability on their part has gone down the tubes as of late. When reliability and Toyota are mentioned, it is usually older models they are referring to.

@God Trojan nah brah. Compared to GM, Kia and a few others, but Honda is it's closest competition. But hey. Take all the cake you/they want. More for you, _brah_ . Hard pass.

@God Trojan and honestly, none of these car makers make decent vehicles anymore. There's a ton of complaints on Accords, Camrys, Civics, etc. The only good thing I own from Toyota is my Tundra. I'll never buy another Camry every again. So nah.

Have the Ebrake failing issue. Happened on the freeway and car was being weird.

I've have the same car and mine is working perfectly fine. Maybe it's just the car you have. Maybe ask them if they can switch your car for another one or ask them if they can lend you another civic to see if it has the same problem. I don't appreciate you hating on all civics cause mine is fine. I don't want ppl on the high way to be like oh don't be driving next to that car. It's dangerous. Again my car is perfectly fine and it might just be your car with the problem. Maybe a few other people as well have this problem.

I've had problems since 25k miles I've replaced half the engine at this point and right now half the dashboard is lit up but diagnostic shows no problem with the car I'm in the shop about every other week I take good care of the Maintence and repair of my cars this is by far the worst one I've ever owned

I would take it to another Honda dealership since it is still in warranty. I feel bad for you but I don't see your problem being a common issue. You have the lemon law to protect you. Use it. Get an attorney.

Hate all of the electronic crap in these new cars. They're made that way so that when they break down the dealerships make money fixing them. After viewing many videos on the Honda Civic I changed my mind I will not buy one.

I also have a 2016 Honda EX model in black and so far no problems. I did have the screen freeze/warning update come on once and that's it. It is expected that some tech issues will be there as its a first generation car. But overall none since that day. My car now has 4,800 miles on it.

Radha Chatterjee Still, I mean my explorer has 5,700 miles on it and it's been flawless, meanwhile my uncles 2017 pilot with a similar amount of milage has had its 9 speed already replaced.

Buy a Tesla....aren't they the safest? I just remembered they catch on fire and auto pilot fails too. They are all the same piece of junk, worthless. They just want the money.
