Flushing your own coolant is easy to do, but it can be a bit time consuming. In this video I show the steps I took to flush the coolant in my Scion iA.
I spent maybe $35 for supplies. The coolant concentrate can be picked up at any of the major auto part store chains. I picked mine up at Autozone for $23. The distilled water is super cheap and I picked up 10 gallons total from my local grocery store. The water is $1.20 a gallon.
I opted to purchase a spill proof funnel on amazon just to check them out.
It's not necessary to complete the job but it was a bit handy.
