@@PowerfulRuben ? V6 Accords get pretty solid fuel economy. Obviously they won't be as efficient as an inline-4 Accord, but they're much faster.

@@yaboybert_2077 If you're getting only 22 mpg in your non-V6 Accord then either something's wrong with it, you're spending too much time idling, or you don't know how to drive efficiently. Using data from Fuelly, 2016 2.4L Accords average 29.39mpg combined, while 3.5L (V6) Accords average 24.75mpg combined. If you're thrashing it on a constant basis hard enough to get fuel economy like that in a 2.4 Accord, you might get similar or better fuel economy with a V6 accord assuming the same acceleration speeds.

People that say it isn’t that fast, sure is not sports car level fast because it isn’t, it’s just a family sedan with a lot of punch, but it can get 0-60 in 5.5 stock and 5.2 if you put better tires since getting traction in this car is almost impossible, but remember this is faster than a mustang 4.6 V8 which at the time it came out was fast and it is a true sports car, and this is not that much slower than the 5.0 mustang with the 6 speed auto, sure the new 5.0 with the 10 speed is a lot faster, it’s expected to be faster right, but this can put a battle with a lot of cars, this car has the dimensions and looks of a RWD car like a BMW 5 series, I can’t imagine this car being RWD or AWD with Honda’s 3.7 instead of the 3.5 and the new 10 speed auto, damnnn that would be a mid to high 4 second car to 0-60 and it’s an accorddd

I own a 2016 Accord V6 touring sedan it I have mods in it that pushing the car to make 285whp on 91 and 300whp on e85 and stock i have raced 4.6 mustang and the 2V ones the 2000-2003 I gapped it but the 3V 2008 I was neck and neck but he won by a fender but that’s when I’m stock modded I gapped 370z and a EVO 10 both of the were stock tho

These J series engines are no slouches. I was always pretty impressed by the J30 in my 06 Accord with a six speed. That thing was definitely a bit quicker than my auto 07 TL I currently own with a 3.2. With the right transmission, these things are pretty potent. Curious to try a later TL with the 3.5 and six speed auto to see how it compares to mine.

5.4 seconds! That's what I counted. About the same thing my stock sedan does with the V6. Well at least according to my dragy. You can easily achieve this just by switching to summer Tires. All season I get about 6.1 seconds.

I have only raced the 6mt 2 liter Accord. I beat him by a wide margin. We switched cars and the result was the same every time. I have no doubt that the 10 speed Accord would beat my car.

I had a ‘16 Acura TLX V6, which is slightly more powerful than the Accord’s V6, and now I have a ‘20 Accord Touring 2.0T and I can tell you that the 2.0T is faster than my V6. I did love that V6 engine though. Sounded so good.

I don't know why, but sitting in an EV and going 0-60 feels amazing at sub 4s. But for whatever reason, the sound of a revving engine makes me feel more connected to the car, and therefore makes the experience feel better, even though this is sub 5s at best.

That's almost certainly hurting your acceleration (and your drivetrain), especially if your traction control is enabled. Don't break boost and traction control should be off.

My current (and first car) is a 2012 v4 accord I’ve done a lot of work on to make run. It’s still fun to pull and put through tight bends but I might also have no other experience and I’m fine to keep it that way for now :) I love my accord

I know my car isn't "fast". But it's fast enough with a manual transmission to have fun in. I can’t really have too much fun in a torqu converted automatic like This Accord. Half the fun for me is heel/toe downshifting around corners and launching it feathering the clutch just right for the conditions. It's just a turbo vw with some bolts ones and a aggressive tune for stock turbo. Downpipe etc. To me the transmission and the suspension is what really makes the car fun.

Those gears caught different from my 2013 European EL-X damn! Shifted earlier so not as high rpms. 0-60 is .15 seconds slower but it's 0-80 is probably the same not if better. Its 0-80 Still faster than most cars 0-60 in its price range.

I counted 6 seconds. The needle started moving at 3 seond mark and reached 60 at the nine second mark.

@@lang1031 well using time stamp on KZfaq doesn't give the car justice. It's a mid 5 second car

@@elianmorales4855 Not according to any professional car tester out there. Three different magazines but it as a 6 second 0-60 car which is what I got in my count. The one that does mid 5 seconds is the 2.0 turbo accord (which is faster then the V6).
