Agreed. The take rate on a manual for this class is somewhere in the ballpark of 3-5%. While it would be nice, there is no way Audi or any other manufacturer would spend precious R&D for that little of a return. I think the S3 and S5 have a manual though.

I think they would have been surprised with a bare-bones stripped down manual version of the S6. ....so many would have wanted to drive that cool beast. ..it would have been selling like hotcakes I believe. ...they could have reduced the price on that considerably. ....just pedals, steering wheel and a shifter. ...nothing fancy. ....I would have loved to own one.

@@Specifix The list is long, but here are a few. The clamps holding the mufflers rotted away and luckily i managed to fix them before damaging the mufflers. This car has never been winter driven. Code P2753 Transmission fluid cooler control circuit/open. Code 154624 Adaptive cruise control..not working. Has been fixed a dfew times now. Code 51 and 379 Air conditioning codes. In the summer no a/c. Code 34 Climate control unit rear code. P1624 Engine control module. Code 264 Gateway code..solenoid valve 4 (n91) Code 10617 Transmission Control module code . transmission fluid control valve. Code 65281 Cental elctrics code. Code 920 1 door electronics passenger side code. Code P0303 Cylinder 3 misfire. 1 on-board camera code. Code 403200 2 ride control system codes. Code 453633 Pressure transmitter for level control residual pressure for lowering rear axle too low. I have a few other fixes that were done. All these codes starting to show up exactly 2 weeks after the warranty expired. I love taking care of my cars and l love the Audi S6..beautiful interior, super fast etc...but lets face it..its a lemon.
