I got the air 10.5, very happy. I’d love a pro but this one quad speakers are cool - I use headphones and so is 120hz but tbh I value updates and the faster silicon .i saved up for this awhile,being 17 and I wanted a long lasting product .Nick I love the channel!

Definitely go with the 2017 iPad pro if you have the choice between them. One more thing to mention is the GPU is 50% more powerful in the Pro so games and everything are gonna be much better framerate and resolution. The pro also has faster storage read speeds, USB 3 transfer speeds instead of USB 2 in the air and 1 more gig of ram.

Will the 10.5 get the white spot on the screen

The 10.5 Pro's bright spot issue which has been well documented elsewhere should also be taken into account when making a decision.

The a10x fusion has 6 cores but doesnt run simultaneously right? Only 3 high perf cores for intensive and 3 high efficiency for basic tasks?

I am using iPad Pro 10.5 since 2.5 years, and believe me, I changed my smartphone 3 times this period, and iPad still outperforms all of them, whether in Gaming, battery life, audio, productivity, etc. There's NO SECOND reason except 2 yrs. of extra update to go for that "Air".

The only worse thing about iPad Pro 2017’s is the WHITE SPOT issue on the screen. So, it’s better to go with Air or 208 iPP or even with iPad 2018

People always say you can't tell the framerate difference on video... yeah, I can.

I've got the iPad Pro 10.5" which I upgraded to in 2017 after retiring my Air 2. If I didn't already have the Pro I might considering buying an Air 3 but it's really no contest the Pro 10.5" is better for me. I watch films on it, record home videos & use multi tasking windows quite a bit so the speakers, camera & RAM are all better on the Pro. I did upgrade my iPad Mini 4 to the Mini 5 & I've been waiting ages for Apple to release the the update which I was very pleased with, improved internals on the same design p. Using the Mini 5 & Pro 10.5" side by side I haven't noticed any difference, they are both smooth & fast.

Here is my thoughts on the 2019 iPad band : The budget iPad is still the best choice for its price but its like an update to the 6th gen iPad . Apple could have done better. Mini 5 should stay the same. Air 3 should have been released with the iphone 11 series together. It could have an a13 bionic chip , quad speakers , 90 hz display . It could have been an ABSOLUTE BEAST with that specs and the 500 dollar pricetag. The current Pro 2018 should stay the same it couldnt have been better.

The iPad pro is perfect but the only problem is the supported years left. So it’s hard to choose.

Last week I bought iPad pro 10.5 512 GB because I thought iPad pro 10.5 is great for me and have more GB.

There’s one thing you gain from a gen 1-3 Air, and that is the most rigid frame in an iPad.

70% of ipad pro 2017 devices wr defective. Some says they have bright spot issues some says they tend to freeze screen while charging, and that was what mine's issue. In short "poor quality control"

I have read elsewhere that Apple have seen a decline in sales, and to be honest I’m not surprized, I’d rather stick with my 2017 Pro & get a new battery put in it when its needed rather than Mid-Grade to the Air 3, as its not really an upgrade! The Air 3 may come with newer/faster processor but the GPU is down from the 2017 Pro! It can’t forgive the Air 3 not having the pro motion 120Hz screen! Given that the Ipad Air 3 is priced between the basic Ipad and 2019 Pro, I can only assume many aren’t willing to pay the premium for the latest Pro 11 and 13 which is more expensive than the 2017 pro was when new, adding insult to injury the 2017 A10x processor still is no slouch by todays 2019 standards! I would’ve preferred Apple to go down the route of updating the 2017 Pro with the slimmer bezels but with the addition of an in-display fingerprint sensor!

Will the 2017 iPad Pro still receive OS support in the future (~2 years)?
