I just had this installed in my 2019 ES300h and it works beautifully! Could you share with the public how to permanently enable the bypass instead of having to tap the phone button every time the car is started? I have mine permanently enabled so no need to enable/disable every startup!

Hi Brandon, we don’t recommend permanently enabling it as it can tamper with your vehicle location on the map

Thank you! You can go to your local dealership and ask for a carplay firmware update for a fee

@@BeatSonicUS thanks for the reply, but...unfortunately here, in Europe from Lexus I get an answer AppleCarPlay isn't supported for my model 🤮How come? No one cares to explain. I have been fighting with them for more than a year and giving up here Lexus support is terrible.Anyway good luck and all the best to you and your team👍

You should be able to get a software update from lexus to add carplay

This device is a standalone and have nothing to do with any external device connection.

@@BeatSonicUS I was able to get the car play download, but Lexus said they were not able to get Android Auto for my year 2018 model LS500.

This sounds very confusing, and I'm not sure I would want to tear apart my $90K LS500. There should be/needs to be capable installers located in San Francisco that can do this installation.
